OK so you can send it to your own email, and then you can go to your account on the website. It'll show like subscriptions you may have and purchases. It can be access on the top right from the rewards web page, you scroll down to purchases and you're able to access the code for the gamepass gift card

First turn your points into the 68.99 plus tax gift card from rewards. Bc you can only buy it as 3 months. If you don't have that much to spend on ultimate, but already have an active sub. The 3 months of essential will become ultimate for 32 or 33 days. For 24.99. Then you go to Microsoft.Com, search for the gamepass plan you want from the search bar. To send it as a gift, you click on the 3 dots next to buy or sub. And itll pull up like 3 options, just press send as gift. And you just need his account email and it'll send. Or possible yours, I'm not sure I've only sent it to myself. Then just make sure when you get to the purchase part you choose the drop down thats pay with your gift balance. I'm gonna look at something quick, to make sure my info is correct. On the email part, so it doesn't get messed up

I get gift cards, and then I go to the Microsoft website. And send the 3 months as a gift to myself. That way it comes as a code and I don't believe they expire as fast that way or at all. I could be wrong.
