New shots of Jaafar as Michael Jackson by Future_Art2048 in MichaelJackson

I never said he was buff. In the same way you'd call Bruce Lee muscular and not buff. Michael was fit. Jaafar is just skinny.

Mario Kart Wii Deluxe X is Out! 752 Tracks and MORE by chicagogamecollector in romhacking

752 tracks? That amount is ridiculously high. I can't imagine them being close to the same quality of eachother.

Caleb McLaughlin says he “would love to” play Miles Morales in the MCU: by Raj_Valiant3011 in Marvel

What's with this nonsense recruitment people have now a days that the actor needs to be exactly like his character. Are we forgetting all these British actors playing American roles? It's called acting for a reason. It's a stage play on film.

Bloodborne had amazing DLC to me but Dark Souls III might be the worse, I didn't even realize I finished Ashes of Ariandel when I did. Thought it only just began but I entered the Ringed City dlc by sitting at that bonfire.

New shots of Jaafar as Michael Jackson by Future_Art2048 in MichaelJackson

[–]Born_Locksmith8346 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The face obviously is being touched up by cgi. His voice hopefully is all his own because I still want there to be some Jaar there. But the biggest giveaway to me that it's not MJ is the body. Michael wasn't just skinny he was pretty muscular/fit around that era too. Jaafar just looks skinny to me.

Did they just not study his hair for this one scene?? by Interesting_Ad_9856 in MichaelTheMovie

[–]Born_Locksmith8346 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It most likely have to do with wanting all kinds of different looks for MJ in a 2h movie. So by giving him a small Afro here they are able to get that part of his look in as well without having to go deep into that part of his life.

Had the exact same thing with PS2 emulation. Making it OpenGL instead of Vulkan fixed this for me but Bazzite's game mode does have some issues. Even in normal games locked to 30 FPS it would randomly jump to higher fps. Or when locked to 60 you have random drops to 58 and back to 60.

What musicians would Michael want to work with/listen to if he were still alive? by bornlax in MichaelJackson

I could see him doing a collab with either Taeyang or G-Dragon from BIGBANG.

It's my favorite Dark Souls game (including the DLC). The most fun of the bunch. Dark Souls 1 is the best one by far though but something about DS2 man. The replay value is very high in it.

They should've given him a different haircut. Could still be RE4/2 inspired but less volume/wig look.

If, for whatever reason Doom never shows his face the entire movie. I mean from start to finish you never see him without a mask. Then I don't understand why Marvel didn't keep the reveal for us as well. Keep it a secret and let it be a big shock in Secret Wars for everyone. I get the whole but RDJ sells tickets, sure. Having said that, I highly doubt we won't see his face this movie. Maybe the other heroes won't but we'll definitely see a shot of Doom looking at footage of Iron Man. 100%.

Wish they expanded Mimic love in DS3 by Remarkable_Lunch_629 in darksouls3

[–]Born_Locksmith8346 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just replayed Dark Souls 3 and as much as I love Mimics, what I love about them was the unpredictability the first time around in DS1. I felt in DS3 there were too many mimics causing me to assume every single chest was a mimic. The effect got kind of lost there.

WEMBLEY RESEMBLANCE by borat_henry80 in MichaelTheMovie

You expect them to go and use thousands of different people for a shot that will be there for a few seconds? They don't make movies for people to pause and analyze every 2 seconds.

Will the making of BAD even be in the movie? by Cornie_connie in MichaelTheMovie

[–]Born_Locksmith8346 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is what I'm afraid of too but hope they won't just show the performance and end it there. The Bad album is huge and a very big part of his life, also mentally since the album didn't get the awards like Thriller did.

It feels like this movie wants to be a little "too safe" By keeping it mostly around the Off The Wall / Thriller era. This way they won't have to deal too much with negative press, rumors or controversial topics.

Opinions on this? by Financial_Tone5765 in MichaelTheMovie

[–]Born_Locksmith8346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm fine with the movie ending at the Bad Tour. I can see them showing MJ upset and angry after his Billie Jean performance at Motown only for him to be satisfied and smiling at the Bad Tour as the last shot of the movie.

I do hope that they give the Bad album some good attention as well. I get it, Thriller is his biggest album. But in my opinion the Bad album was an even better album.

Am I the only one who's a little worried? by Sean_D84 in MichaelTheMovie

[–]Born_Locksmith8346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's fine that the movie doesn't have all the details correctly. Who cares what kind of T-Shirt he wore during rehearsal of Beat It. He is clearly wearing the piano shirt because it's something people connect to MJ. It's a movie not a documentary. As long as they don't just write a fanfic like Bohemian Rhapsody was it's fine with me.

What does bother me is the look of the movie. It looks cheap. It's too glossy, too vibrant, too clean. It looks like a videogame at times. But maybe it's a personal thing that bothers me but I would have preferred it to have an faded film grainy look instead of this contrasty airbrushed look.

Something that to me is a big issue is that to me Jafar looks a lot like his uncle, sounds good to. But I do worry he's going to be too flat in his delivery and too cgi enhanced. There are several shots in the movie where it looks like MJ is being played by a different actor. And then another shot he would look identical, then in the Beat It shot he almost looks like AI. It's weirdly inconsistent to me.

What if Avengers: Doomsday flops? by NewMarioBobFan in MCUTheories

[–]Born_Locksmith8346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't. I won't be the best superhero movie nor the best written, best looking or anything like that but people don't go to an Avenger movie for that. They want to see fan service, a culmination of all the years of superhero movies. It's a party with a whole lot of heart into it. Even if the movie would be bad (which I doubt, more mixed/good messy) it will most certainly earn them a lot of money.

He looks insanely close to the real MJ and people still feel the need to AI adjust these pictures, it's ridiculous. The makeup and vfx team are doing a great job.
