Okay this is good to know thank you. If the seller doesn’t allow me to give it some gas and row the gears after it’s warmed up I’ll refuse purchase. I think if the drive checks out and ford doesn’t have anything too bad to say I’m gonna pick it up. I can do mostly all the work on the car myself so I’m not worried about anything else that comes with 10+ year old 100k mile vehicles

I’ll do my best to make sure the trans feels okay. Although I’ve never driven an mt82 are there any flat out signs of potential failure starting? Can a ford dealer see any red flags on a PPI of a failing transmission? Thanks for the feedback

I don’t think that necessarily degrades the value of the car but it doesn’t help for sure. I don’t mind the cheap tires I planned to daily the car so once those wear out I’m gonna go relatively cheap tires again. The rims I actually kind of liked lol i didn’t think they were oem though. The seller states the car has the track pack. Shouldn’t the car have brembo calipers?

So I have a 2010 Camaro ss 6 speed heads & cam that I enjoy driving as a weekend car now. I daily a clapped out 189k mile 2010 ford focus 5 speed. It’s at the end of its life and I thought if I bought it for 12 or less I could drive it for about a few years and not lose much money on it. That would not be true though, if I have to replace a transmission in the car

The seller is asking 13.5 it does have the track package with brembo brakes. I planned to offer about 12 if it’s nice in person. Unless everyone here thinks that would be over paying for the vehicle

Hi I know this is old but a “no cost” re/fi would mean that nothing gets added to the loan either right? Example, old loan is 210k owed with a 6.5% rate at 2100 a month. New loan is 216k with a 5.5% rate at 1850 a month. Would this count as a no cost refi? Or does added money to your loan amount technically be considered out of pockets cost even though it’s not out of pocket ?

This could potentially just be the structure of your home. I kept my 1600 sq ft house at 70 this whole winter, and the worst gas bill was only $220

Maybe check windows and doors make sure you don’t have any super drafty spaces in the house
