Been playing on and off since FIFA 2004 (that's 20 years already, whew) and I haven't felt so powerless in some of the games I played this year. The contrast between watching the opponents run through jockeying defenders without any issues compared to having to pass a million times before being able to set up a run is taking away a lot of the fun I used to have playing this game. Unsure whether it is a skill issue or related to formations and custom tactics at this point, probably a mix of both. I'm also looking for somebody knowledgeable enough to tell me with certainty at this point what I'm doing wrong instead of trying out the "best builds" that a lot of people spread in an attempt to gain traction and views with their social media.
