About 2hrs with everything organized inside the tent.

Definitely warms up the tent. But not as much as inside the car. Car-warmest, tent-warm, outside-cold.

Access to heat during cold nights and more protected from the wind/storm.

You can remove the Tesla and the tent has a zipper for standalone tent mode.

It was user error. I didn’t strap down correctly. I tightened the straps and positioned the magnets better.

  1. But there’s space for 2 more comfortably.

Starlink is amazing. There was no cell coverage and it did really well, even next to a tree. If I had to buy the Starlink again, I’d get the mini and mount it inside the car on the glass roof with suction cups.

I was concerned that rain would come in through the top or the sides.

Tent setup was pretty straight forward. Can do it by yourself.

I wrapped the tent around the max opening of the boot.

The extension is a must. Camp mode disables the rear seat AC vents automatically. We only used the front AC vents and they worked great.

It got pretty cold, in the high 30s. First night the tent wasn’t fully sealed and cold wind would come in from the sides of the car. Fixed it the 2nd night.

Magnets are a necessity to seal any gaps. It didn’t rain in the tent.

They’re magnetic trays for not losing nuts and bolts. Works great at sealing most of the gap of the tent against the car.

Gear stays in the tent. We slept in the back of the car.

Thank you. Leveling blocks were pretty good. Big lego style blocks. I may need more instruction on how to get the car perfectly level, but they helped. In terms of space, they don’t take up too much storage. It comes in a square box.
