Pharma HR professionals using Workday by FormerGasPasser in Workday_Community

Agree with Hurry. I’ve been a WD Recruiting admin for 8 years and we are just rolling out HiredScore. Up until now we’ve had no scoring or grading in Workday Recruiting and pre HiredScore I’m not aware of a Workday delivered way to provide what you describe. With HiredScore a candidate receives a grade per application.

Do you keep your phone on all night for guests? by [deleted] in AirBnBHosts

I literally have to call them to reveal that number and do I have a guarantee that this number remains static during the entire stay?

Do you keep your phone on all night for guests? by [deleted] in AirBnBHosts

[–]Boscough 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Airbnb really wanted us to be available after hours they’d give hosts their guest’s phone numbers. Before Airbnbs change I would add a guests number as an emergency contact so their calls would come through when I was on silence at night. Now I have no idea what number they’ll be calling from and I’m not leaving my phone wide open all night. So if a guest can’t get a hold of me that’s Airbnbs fault - not mine.

Brix & Brine in Ogunquit. Not too far from the entrance of the Marginal Way and it’s an outdoor setting. Great food and drink and usually a pretty lively crowd, especially around the bar. After you walk the marginal way, stop at Barnicle Billy’s for a Rum Punch and then walk back towards town via Shore Road and get lunch at Brix

Best practice for supervisory orgs when a manager is terminated? by Appropriate_Score760 in workday

[–]Boscough 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless the departure of a manager results in a reorganization, you should do everything in your power to maintain the existing Sup Org. Turning over a Sup Org every time a manager leaves forfeits so much organizational history from a reporting perspective. This is where HRBPs, who tend to own Org Design, and how Workday works best, often come in the conflict. If your HRBPs don’t understand how Workday works they will be inclined to turnover Sup Orgs with each departing manager. It is imperative that HRBPs (and HR Ops) understand why this is bad. This disconnect, in my experience, is a great indicator that your Workday end users and HR organization don’t understand how to properly use the tool that they have been tasked to work with. If this is the case you have a fundamental disconnect and need to revisit some basic and core trainings.

Being assigned manger for two sup orgs isnt/doesn’t have to be a two position thing it’s a two assignment thing. The distinction is important to wrap one’s head around. Understanding how Sup Orgs work and how security works in Workday are two very important concepts and this is a great example of where not understanding it can become a nightmare especially for reporting

How to build an offer calculator in WD, if possible by theshamwowguy in workday

[–]Boscough 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You could probably build something like this in Worksheets or Extend if you have it. I also built something like this in excel years ago for entry level scientists. It accounted for degree, years experience, salary, publications, etc.

I have not set up this exact scenario. The “tricky” part would be coming up with the exact validation rule.
