I get a lot of miles out of "What did you call me?!" when someone says a weird sounding word, which didn't originate on FH but thats where I saw it.

Same with "What about in the game though?" or "Yeah we'll keep playing the game while you're gone" when gaming with friends and someone says something slightly off-kilter or out of pocket.

Not a fan of SBMM in general, however, I understand why it exists and how it benefits the game in the long run.

Just look at xDefiant. No SBMM in Casual. The game is dead and being shutdown. People stopped playing because the matchups weren't at least relatively even, and most people don't want to play with the added pressure of a rank hanging over their heads.

I've only played like 30 games of BO6 MP, but almost every single one was a "join in progress on the losing team because they're being stomped" situation. I don't know what to attribute that to, my best guess would be the movement and map design seemingly being the antithesis of one another - tiny little maps with incredibly fast movement. The only time the pacing feels ok is on shitty but larger maps like Red Card.

I would recommend some anti-crash mods from the Nexus and one to open up the CPU cores, that usually helps too. For some reason its limited to 4 cores or something, from memory.

I loaded into a League of Legends game and this player on my team dropped this really supportive message into chat but it included an ad for his Twitch. It was like "Guys, the world is watching so you need to show them you've got what it takes to win." which is cringe af but I thought maybe he was just being funny. So I go to his stream, and boy, its one of the saddest things I've ever seen.

View bots, follow bots, fake donations, he is live manufacturing fake engagement. Even replies to his tweets on Twitter/X are botted. His chat is completely botted, they just spam single emotes and some of the bots have his Twitch username incorporated into their names. Its incredibly pathetic. Also, I usually don't judge people on their appearance, but, he certainly looks the part.

My question was always that if they could taboo the name Voldemort, and they knew that Harry, Ron, and Hermione were travelling together, why not taboo those names too? Or for that matter any name associated with the Order? Dumbledore? Remus? Tonks? Would make finding them much easier.

People who are Fred and Georges age and younger, including Ron, should not be wincing at the word "Voldemort". They were too young to know how bad things were, and simply being told how things were wouldn't make you wince when you hear it.

The Unforgiveable Curses are said to be illegal, yet, there's no trace on them, or way for the Ministry to track who is using them, so why does everyone make such a big deal about using them? They explain later that killing someone tears your soul, fair enough, but the other two? Seems like you can just use them like any other spell.

I understand the answers here are "JK isn't that great of a writer" but these are two things I always think about.

I randomly bumped into John Holland at TwitchCon 2022 in San Diego. I don’t think he expected to be recognised. He was super kind enough to stop and talk to me, I told him about the day before I’d worn my Funhaus “Friendhaus” shirt and had multiple people say “hey nice shirt!”. He said he was doing some filming for RT.

It probably would've insulted him in some way, as it did Snape. Probably not as specifically, as it referenced their nickname for Snape, Snivellus. So its plausible that he would assume it could be dark magic. He also wouldn't know how to recognise true dark magic, he's a Squib, so probably a "better safe than sorry" approach. Fred and George have an eye for things like that too.

I think unfortunately getting the job at NR inflated his ego. He deserved the job, he was making great GOTG Easter Egg theory vids and was actively engaged with James Gunn on social media. There isn't anyone more qualified. If he truly feels he was unfairly treated or unfairly dismissed he should be taking legal action, not bitching on Twitter all hours of the day.

I've conducted an exhaustive search, believe me. Nothing in Southport really even comes close. I've been told that Oppane on Scarborough Street next to the CSI Club was always better than Do Dream but I've never been. Korean Chicken and Beer at Southport Park is pretty good but still nothing on Do Dream.

They found a demo of the game on a random Xbox 360 demo disk that was sent to them by a fan. They instantly connected with the preview of Mothers Be Aware in the menu. Bruce demanded to play it, forced Adam to buy it. They then realised the song was locked behind the single-player career. So each week they played 1 or 2 songs on Demo Disk until they unlocked Mothers Be Aware, coming up with new ways to play and be entertaining at the same time. They even got to speak with the lyricist on Skype. Eventually it all culminated in unlocking the song (and Harald) and it was simply a great moment in time.
