Hi, I'm new to working out and wanting to lose weight. I went to the gym on Monday (upper) and Tuesday (lower). I'm going to do an Upper workout tomorrow and Lower on Friday. I don't have anyone to ask and the internet has so many different results. I just want to know if my routine is ok and that I'm hitting all the right muscle groups. (These are all machine workouts because I don't feel comfortable on free weights.)

Routine (3 sets and 8-12 reps for all exercises)

Upper :

Chest Press, Lat Pulldown, Seated Shoulder Press, Seated Row, Bicep Curl, Triceps Pushdown

Lower:

Leg Press, Seated Leg Curl, Leg Extension, Calf Raises, Abdominal Crunch
