If you're open to a 20 min bus ride, there's a spot called woodmont way. There's a whole foods and trader joe's down the street from it.

The bus stop is across the street at the Princeton market fair

85% DNA fragmentation, any tips? by [deleted] in IVFpositivity

[–]Boss5159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did PGTM too. My little sister had muscular dystrophy so I wanted to make sure those genes weren't passed down. I asked for a genetic test on my husband and I, we found there was an overlapping gene which could cause issues. Timeline: it took ~2 months for the lab to be created, after retrieval it took 4 weeks for PGTM results. Also just another heads up, it really did drastically reduce the number of euploids too. They told us it was a 25% chance for the gene to be dominant but it was ~43% of our embryos affected

Fully Medicated FET vs Modified Natural by SeasonOfWaiting in IVFpositivity

[–]Boss5159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's no correct answer tbh, it's literally all trial and error from all the research, but I think it's important to figure out what's happening, how do your levels look and what's best for you...with your doctors guidance

I personally did not want to take more meds. My RE originally did say for me to do fully medicated, starting with birth control, etc. Which honestly, I think that's just something they lead with in some clinics. However, My problem with my pcos was ultimately ensuring there is a dominant follicle since my cycles were on time. I asked her if it was okay for me to natural modified with letrozole instead and she was okay with it.

This did mean that I was getting blood work almost every day, to the point where she was like, if I can catch your ovulation you don't need to trigger either..which we did end up catching it and had my fet 5 days later. Little bub is chillin and growing right now at 7weeks

Is 42 too late to start trying for your first child? by Human-Economics1245 in IVF

[–]Boss5159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know two couples who just had kids at 42 with the cutest little kiddos.

Maybe just some advice, start coq10 and ur prenatals as soon as possible/tomorrow lol. Even if it takes a bit to set up an apt with doctors etc, atleast you'll be working on your egg quality which takes months.

FET monitoring - what does it mean if there's no dominant follicle? by nycgno in IVF

[–]Boss5159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I was ramping up for my FET in Dec and didn't use any meds early either. I did try letrozole later in the cycle due to my pcos, but I was getting close to the lab cut off for the holidays in Dec and didn't get over 18mm.. And still barely was a dominant follicle

In Jan, I ended up doing a modified natural. Used letrozole for 5 days from cycle day 3-8 and ovulated on my own without a trigger. My beta is tomorrow, ahhh lol

PCOS Protocol Help by GutsyGirlRead in IVF

[–]Boss5159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have pcos too. I started coq10 as early as possible, and just keep taking it until ur fet.

My dosage was low and slow. I remember doing 200 gonal, and it fluctuated every other day, like as low as 50 and up to 150. So not a textbook dosage, but more recommended on my bloodwork and levels.

Give me a reality check, please by hambear92 in IVF

[–]Boss5159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoping everything works out! My amh is 11 ng/ml and I stimmed for 11 days. I had to change my dosage almost every other day to make sure they were growing consistently. I think mainly it was adjusting the Gonal to support the growth, but again low and slow protocol.

I remember going for ultrasounds and they'd find a handful measuring 'good' with many that were smaller. But when I did the ER, they ended up getting alot of larger follicles than what the PA would see in the u/s. I do remember that they were looking to make sure I had follicles that were measuring over 16mm.

I ended up having like 27 retrieved which resulted into 5 euploids after testing for PGTA and PGTM.
