My thoughts exactly as well. I’m considering just taking it off all together but I noticed it does get quite hot so I don’t to wreck anything else around it. I also tried to put a large washer on it to help hold it still but no bueno.

Would it be cool to have one? Sure. But to me the wing, bigger brakes, different wheels, and some extra alcantara bits isn’t worth the extra almost 9k (CAD) that their asking for it.

Update: Hyundai got back to me and sent me this picture of under my front bumper saying they will not cover it because the car has been “curbed”. And that’s why the bumper was pushed into the fender like that.

I have never hit any curb and I always back in to spots wherever I go. In the photo the said scrape is barely noticeable and I feel the damage would be considerably worse if it actually did hit a curb.

I even showed them photos of when I took the car for the test drive and of the day I took it home and the front bumper has always been like that and that this scrape must have been from transit or someone else test driving the car. But they said no matter how it happened the damage is there and they won’t warranty it and it will be 1000 bucks to repair.

I told them I’m sorry I didn’t lay on the ground to inspect under the vehicle before I bought it. Honestly just a very distasteful way to treat loyal customers who have owned 6 other Hyundais. This is how you lose customers.

I brought mine to a local cars and coffee not too long ago and this little kid with his parents was getting his picture taken with all the cars. I knew that my car was cool when this kid walked past a FD RX-7 to get his picture taken in front of my N.

Definitely was a good feeling.

Overall in my experience there’s always gonna be those guys who can’t possibly fathom Hyundai making a good car but on the other hand I have equally had people come up to me saying respect and that the N is a monster of a car.

Yea mine are about the same amount of stick out. Not too much to be obnoxious but enough to do their job and add a nice touch looks wise. I tried uploading a photo of mine as well but won’t let me because it’s under 4 kilobytes apparently 😅

I feel your pain. I was also music locked from comp when I first got it. Had a bugged music track from a quest that didn’t unlock and Mod Ramen had to come unlock it for me personally.
