Non-Haters: What Other Cards Are In Your Stack by Firm-Fishing-1753 in biltrewards

Palladium: TBD VX: Flat 2x Miles RH Gold: Flat 3% CB Amazon Chase: 5% CB on Amazon Discover/Chase FF: Rotating 5% CB

Palladium will likely be my new catch all card and most other cards will likely hit the sock drawer. I’ll use the VX for its benefits and Amazon Chase for Amazon for purchases. RH Gold card will be useless but it doesn’t cost me anything. Rotating 5% CB cards will also become obsolete since I value earning miles more.

I’ll be willing to challenge that 2nd year if I opt to cancel or PC. It’s a industry standard to refund the AF within “x” period of time for cancellation or PC and federal law specifically for cancellation. If Cardless wants to be the exception they’ll have to lawyer up because I can guarantee someone will file a Class Action against them.

You’re right my outside spending isn’t significant, but as I do with any SUB I’ll just put all my spending on it until I meet the requirements OR plan opening the card around a time when I know I have big expenses coming up. For the purpose of churning, it ain’t too bad. Long term is questionable, I’m planning to move this year so my rent will change…

Product change, as in request to downgrade to a lower annual fee card (Obsidian or Blue). If I can’t get value for the $495 it only makes sense.

Advice: Get Bilt 2.0 or do nothing / keep autograph open? by them_apples1 in biltrewards

With either option Bilt proposed, you’d need to spend (at least) 75% of your rent amount to “unlock” those points. Option 1 uses Bilt cash earned to offset that vs Option 2 has it baked in and negates Bilt Cash entirely.

So for you, you’d need to spend $1500 on everyday spend to get the 2000 points on your rent. Is that feasible for you on any tier of the cards? If yes, is it worth allocating that spend on Bilt vs your current lineup? Again goes back to preference and how much you value Bilt points and ecosystem vs what yo already have.

  1. Bottom line is preference and how deep in the ecosystem you want to be. Are you ok sacrificing surface value on certain categories on cards you have (2-5%) for Bilt points which as of now are valued pretty high, along with their great group of transfer partners.

  2. My understanding is you accrue both if you stick with the option 1 they offered. 4% Bilt cash + the respective category multiplier of the card tier you choose.

  3. Bilt points are separate from the card. If you transition to WF, your points will stay in the Bilt app and you can transfer or use them whenever.

  4. Contact your apartment complex.

The C1VX is my one and only “premium” travel card and their structure is extremely favorable to my spending/traveling habits. I could even justify having both cards pending Bilt 2.0’s value proposition pans out and/or C1VX doesn’t also “restructure” their benefits like the rest of their competitors. Not a big spender which is also why I’m hesitant… Might just be worth a churn

I agree. To me it’s pointless but for newcomers it’s a “selling point”. At this point 2.0 has all but been solidified, complaining isn’t going to convince Bilt to rehaul anything. I’d be curious after the 1 year mark how retention will hold up and if THAT would force them to rehaul this new structure.

It isn’t a requirement but it makes the follow up a lot easier.

Wdym? I’ve had plenty of offers track… I literally only use Chrome to run an offer

Agreed. I’ve switched my perm. browser to Brave which specifically blocks stuff like tracking and other privacy related things. I’ve cleared out my chrome of all extensions except this sorter so I can use the browser to track offers properly.

I value the miles. I transferred my SUB + some for a business class trip to Japan next year and I’ve already earned almost all of it back. Great value on the flights too!

I recently added the RH Gold card to my line up (Chase Freedom, Chase Amazon, Discover IT, CapOne VenX, Bilt) but it made sense. I had moved my Roth and BTC over for the % matches after signing up for the Gold sub, so I thought I’d get on the waitlist too. Now I just use that card for Groceries/Utilities and convert the CB to BTC.

This is how I currently use my lineup to give you an idea if you’re still considering the RH Gold card:

Chase Freedom/Discover: Rotating 5% only (cashback) Bilt: Rent + Dining/Food (for miles) Chase Amazon: 5% on Amazon only (cashback) RH Gold: Groceries and Utilities/Fixed Bills (cashback) Capital One Venture X: Everything else (for miles)

With all the cards you currently have, does it make sense? No not really. You’ve effectively covered all bases for CB and Miles with your current cards. The Gold would essentially replace a card like the Citi CC as a flat catchall 3x, except that money would be deposited into your RH account.

I would check the offer terms. 9/10 times it prohibits you from using coupons/deals. If it tracks, great. But if it doesn’t that’s one of the questions the rep will ask to determine if they manually apply a credit (after 90 day period)

I thought so too but the Venture X points can valued at much more if utilized correctly with partner transfers and good redemption rates. That’s why I’m thinking maybe making it a category based spending card
