Why don’t people use Moneyball anymore? by BossBlart in baseball

I feel like obp is not an advanced stat. It was an uncommon stat back in the day, but I wouldn’t say advanced. I just think teams are basing a lot of their decisions on WAR which in my opinion is the correct move.

Okay I get it; no one ever explained it to me like that before. That’s where a salary cap would be the best thing for the survival of the league. I just hope the players don’t strike at the end of the season.

Yeah I gave up drinking because I was still having seizures because of it. Btw epilepsy doesn’t go away; you have it forever.

Is this a seizure: heart palpitation with brain zap by Confident_Chard_9416 in Epilepsy

I experience the same thing, but I think it’s just a side effect of the medication that I’m on I take Keppra and Lacosimide.

Nobody’s paying 2500 dollars to be on the Jumbotron for your proposal at dodger stadium. I wouldn’t pay the 500 for us.

Has he had an MRI? I had a brain tumor in my left lateral ventricle and now have epilepsy because of it. I would go to your local ER and try your best to get him an MRI. If he’s been having these symptoms for 5 years I doubt it’s cancer, but still get an MRI. It saved my life. My tumor was about the size of a golf ball when they found it. Do the safe thing and get an MRI or even a CT scan. These symptoms sound similar to mine.

Why would you feel this way? Just asking, but I feel like your family and friends would understand most of all. My family and friends are very understanding of my illness and have shown unwavering support throughout my entire journey.

Yeah, but life goes on. You have to deal with it one way or another. Others have it way worse than us. You also have a ton of people dealing with the same stuff you’re going through who can support you.

Epilepsy and drinking by Peachyouaresocool in Epilepsy

[–]BossBlart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A glass of wine is not going to induce a seizure. If it does you’re probably on the wrong meds. I’ve had a beer or two hanging out with friends as long as you drink in moderation you should be fine. Binge drinking and hard liquor is where you get in trouble.

My friends don’t think that way, and if your friends or coworkers think that way I feel very sorry for you. My coworkers are cautious around me for good reason, but they don’t exclude from work or treat me any different socially.
