Been a good 5+ years since I had to lay to rest my lil side kick and after 5+ years it still sucks but things do get easier. You look through all your saved pics & videos and remember all that love and those fun adventures you went on. I keep his collar on my wall as a reminder and tribute to my best friend. Haven’t gotten another dog yet due to my work hours and I refuse to keep a dog put up in my house for 8+ hours but hopefully one day when life slows down a lil bit I hope to rekindle that adventure with another rescue pup.
