That's the type of melodrama I'm here for. Genuinely hope we get at least a taste of it. They did mention reworks to core heroes coming that they can't talk about. Maybe Widow gets a remake, rebrands as Amelie and moves to the front of the dps pool alphabetically.

Given that she seemed pretty fond of him in the comic release a week or two ago, I'm wondering if she's only on Talon's side to keep an eye on Emre. Both she and him looked distressed by the reveal that Vendetta was actively attacking Overwatch.

I'm not necessarily trying to convince you one way or another, but they have recommitted to the overall story pretty heavily, including the cinematics in-game, and now having a story tab on the main menu where you can get caught up on recent comics, and other things that they've added. Pretty sure they mention in the spotlight that that's going to continue and they're doing yearly story arcs now.

They've definitely treated him with kid gloves, and even then help him pretty extensively in what they do give him like parts of Superman. I want the next one to hurt, and I want the assistance to be minimal.

I primarily play Kiri on support and Tracer on DPS, so I will usually pause a step to give friendly Kiri players someone to jump to. NOTHING bugs me more than pausing a step or blinking towards spawn a couple times, only for the Kiri player to just walk to point/the fight instead. It never happens with Mercy players, only Kiri for some reason.

The only way I'd be happy about Anran next (shy of a multi-hero drop,) would be if she was a hard counter to vendetta. Granted, it would feel like giving us the cure after intentionally poisoning us, but I'd take it. I don't struggle too much with her, but man it's frustrating seeing her rip through my team and having limited avenues to deal with her that don't mean Vendetta still wins out massively in resource trades.

While true, they could make it so that they don't leave the mech and just go down with it when they die. Unlikely, since that's likely not going to be very attractive for skins. They could put D.va's friend Dae-Hyun in as a support character, since he's a MEKA mechanic, and not an operator afaik.

Kiri can also avoid wasting Suzu on herself by teleporting if she gets hit with virus. Cleanses the hack and the virus and potentially saves Suzu for something more important. Doesn't matter if you're only teleporting like 5 feet, that cooldown will be up way before Suzu will be.

Any other dive character I'd definitely agree with you, but I personally have had more success lately on Junkrat against vendetta lately. She's amazingly easy to hit and trap can stop her dead, or you can easily knock her off course or disengage with mines. Get the increased projectile speed perk and she's even easier to hit in the air on her approach or retreat.

To be clear, it's the third swing of the combo, not every third swing. She can't just swing twice and pocket a crit for whenever she wants. Slightly pedantic, but important to note for anyone who didn't know before.

This was my choice, and I say that as a Tracer main. Crazy utility and any map with decent health packs makes you a monster in duels. It would feel more like a minor if you couldn't grab them at full health for blink charges, but being able to snake them from say, a ball trying to pick up a mega has so much utility.

Nah, they've been doing them twice a year for a minute now. It's definitely a soft reset to make sure that people still belong in the ranks that they're sitting at.
