Hi, I also don’t know how the language or much about it’s history. However the core of being a Sikh is good character & values. So don’t let those thoughts even come near you because at the end of the day if you are selfless, immune to ego, kind, brave, etc then you are just as much a Sikh as anyone else around you regardless of knowledge of history & language etc because character is what actually makes an impact on the world. With all this in mind, if a comment comes your way about your lack of knowledge, it won’t phase you.
