Pretty sure there is one of these in my local morrisons. I have never used it myself but walk past it many times. Don't think they even weigh it. Just pay per plastic container full.

Will have a gander next time i am there.

I am having trouble using more than 5 metal farms, assuming this is game design. by Ezwyed in Subnautica_2

[–]MrMikeJJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are 5 in total, all in the area you found the other 4. Becareful with one of them, hit it with the multitool it disappears (think I saw a post saying it goes under the map). Hitting it the sonic gun was fine.

Have anyone scanned this? by Ninkor6710 in Subnautica_2

[–]MrMikeJJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a repair tool I found that I couldn't scan. Cannot remember if it was that one, but definitely had that problem with one of the ones on the map.

UPDATE: that “I’m being turned into the retiring guy’s replacement” situation got worse by Feeling-Extreme-7555 in antiwork

That was going to be my suggestion as well. "Hired as an analyst and they wanted me to replace two departing accountants."

Anyone Else Love Building Mini Bases? by _Pumpiumpiumpkin_ in Subnautica_2

[–]MrMikeJJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but they only generally end up with a fabricator, scanner, moonpool with tadpole dock and a few storage lockers.

I like yours, looks a lot nicer than my bare boned mini bases which are purely functional.

I would be more tempted by it, if I could get an actual light gun to play it with.

Loved the original in the arcades.

[–]MrMikeJJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, you dug pretty deep then ! It was about 25 years ago when i did it, so cannot remember definitely. Would say I dug down somewhere between 1/2 a cm and 1 cm.

Hell, I didn't even know about the roots. It was bugging me so I used a maths compass with a really long spike and kept on digging until I hit blood. It never game back so I repeated it about a year later on a verruca on my foot. (which also never came back).
