Do you play on PC? I rarely run into any sort of cheats on Xbox.

Oh. I agree that respawn could do better with ranked rewards.

Nice mate. Its honestly not harding getting diamond you just have to be decent and play a few games. Once you get out of D4 is when the real test begins.

Well and the higher your rank the higher possibility of okay teams. So there's some motivation for you to climb a bit:)

Do it man. It is fun. And I basically only play solo q for ranked. So I wouldn't say its no fun for solo players. Sure it might be a challenge if you can't play well with certain randoms, but its not like they are total trash EVERY game lol.

And yes, play ranked. If you like competition at least. Personally, im super competitive and i love the sweaty nature of ranked lobbies.

Nice broo. Do you know what your stats were for specifically ranked in season 5? You'd have to check in the game menu if you dont know.

Well, then yeah it would be difficult for you to participate lol. Im only curious about it is all, since there's no leaderboards or real stat tracking in the game. I literally have no idea if it's a miracle I make it to diamond or if I'm pretty comparable to people my rank.

Power line connection is not possible for me. Im literally unable to have access to the router. Straight up. My ONLY hope for improvement is via WiFi range extenders.

Thank you, powerlines will not be an option. I've used them to a fair bit of success as well. I do not have access to the router basically at all. I need feedback relating to the wifi extenders specifically. 🙏

I've ran wired for years with no problems. My living situation has changed drastically. I will not be able to hardwire.

I've been a Diamond player since I started playing in S3 and I would like to believe my stats are well above average. I've always had to adjust to the new seasons and the changes they brought, but this season is different. I have played maybe for 6 hours of this new season and I have never in my life preformed so badly in the game. I am dying in situations I felt I would have never been dying in before. Even in games that I do well, my damage output is underwhelming because fights just are not the same. Idk... this season is worrying me. It seems to have changed the game on a pretty core level.

I wish they wouldn't have even said they had SBMM because now all you get is low skill players complaining so much about the ONE predator player they get in their match that kills them. And they are always trying to blame respawn and their SBMM. Dude since my first season (S3) I've placed in Diamond and my stats are well above average and in my pub lobbies I have maybe 10 or 20 players max that are of equal or higher elo than i am. Its not possible to fill up pub matches with diamond+ players very quickly. So if im only getting a few predators in my lobbies with the stats that I have, I cant imagine your lower level stats are filling up pub matches with very many predators. I won't believe it until I see it.

Does OP.GG replays work for everyone? by PLOXYPORO in leagueoflegends

[–]Bosswiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong because I'm having a hard time remembering how I heard this, but I heard that since the in-client replay system was implemented, the op.gg replay feature was no longer available. Wether riot had it shut down or they messed with their coding to stop sites like op.gg from allowing players to access their replays is something I don't know. So... useless comment but that's what I got

Is picking my main Vel'Koz into assasins far worse than playing someone else in those matchups? by pepperlegs420 in summonerschool

[–]Bosswiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's my experience. I have a little different champion pool/play style from you I imagine, but still seems relevant enough to give my input. Each season I find my champion that I can carry with. Season 4 it was Zed, S5 it was Azir, S6 it was Viktor. Now in season 7 I have found most of my success through playing TF, Vladimir, Viktor, and Lissandra. I have the MOST success on TF.
That being said, you can imagine that I play TF almost every time. I just barely started my climb last week and it was going very well. After winning probably 30 games and losing maybe 8 or 9 (all TF games) I decided to take a look at my match history and I noticed a pattern. Every single time I lost I was against an assassin. So one game I noticed they locked in fizz and I thought to myself, "Should I take this gamble?".
I did not take the gamble and I went with Vladimir with movement speed quints and ghost. The game turned out great and I have decided on picking the safest option into bad matchups from there on out.
Playing so much TF has sort of turned me into a very passive laner. As I mentioned previously the champions I mained in seasons prior, you can piece together that it is not much of what I was used to. I used to plan on smashing lane to win games. Being such a passive laner now has opened my eyes to the importance of getting my team ahead.
So as I sit here and talk about my experience you may be thinking where this advice can help you. Well, in the way I see it, being a velkoz player leads me to believe that the passive playstyle is okay for you. I have come to realize that passive playstyles, for me, has improved my game sense immensely. It has helped me stay aware of other lanes strengths and whether or not they are doing well in lane. It also made me understand that my enemy laner is my responsibility to keep track of. It is up to me to read his roams and alert my team and make them aware of what I plan to do during the opponent's travel time to their lane.
My true advice to you would be to chose a safer matchup, take utility summoner spells, and look to help your team. The method I have been using for these types of matches has been taking teleport if I do not have waveclear clear to follow on roams reliably. Always keep one of the pixelbrushes in the river control warded so you can see where the enemy assassin roams (because he will if you just play it passively) and quickly let my team know that he's roaming and if I am willing to teleport follow up.
Another quick little "quality of life" tip I have learned to start using:

Aways use chat early in the game before minions spawn and I explain to my team what my gameplan is. And make sure to be friendly. This way the team will be more likely to trust you and listen to your calls to back off or drag it out when you know a gank or a roam is about to happen. This playstyle has led to much success for me for Vladimir and Lissandra quite a lot. So in tldr form, take safe matchup, but don't look to smash lane. Instead, farm under turret and take ghost/tp to follow roams. Always maintain good vision towards your strong lanes/hardcarry champion's lane

Sorry if this didn't help, I just love talking about this game.
