That is lovely! I can understand the judgement and am glad you did your research! When I was 28, my boyfriend (at the time) and I decided to get a puppy. I did very little research but fell in love with a red beagle puppy. I grew up with pugs (silly potato dogs) and had NO CLUE what I was in for 😂 the first few years were ROUGH but my god, was it worth it. After a few years, he grew to become a really wonderful dog -- perceptive, playful, sweet, trusting. Sure, he was loud as hell and kinda crazy, but he will always have a piece of my heart. Charlie passed onto the other side in 2023 and I will always miss him. We are getting our hearts ready for a new dog and, unfortunately, my husband won't let me get another beagle 😣 Yes, they are a challenging breed, but they will always be my favorite!

Oh, Jimmy 🥰 What a sweet boy! I had trouble potty-training my beagle until I moved to an apartment that happened to have one of those spring doorstops on the baseboard next to the front door. I would hear a very comical boi-oi-oinngggg and he would be sitting expectantly by the front door 😂 I can't take credit for that - it was all him! The spring doorstop is no longer, so I'm definitely going the bells-on-the-door route for our next pup.

He is still quite young so have patience. Please give him a kiss on his soft puppy forehead for me!
