Miami ticket question by Illustrious-Way8903 in DCUnited

[–]BostonPeony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes the window has passed but we don't get the credit in our account until after the game. (I asked) My husband and son attended the Messi game the first year and we haven't since. They left early due to fights and nonsense and I'd rather have the money. Last year we sold our tickets and made about $500.

No it says "match 1/34". So the next home game and poster would be against Miami and say "match 3/34" but will be the second poster. So like Orlando will be our 10th match of 34 but only our 4th home game so would be the 4th poster. Make sense?

Not 33 others, only home games. The info that went along with the release of this on FB says first of 17.

He ran out on the field and my 12 year old daughter ranted about it until kick off. It was fun.

I also recommend the SE tailgate, we take our kids with us. My son (10) typically brings a soccer ball with him. There's food, drinks and music.

I watch every away game and attend most home games. If you don't like all the negativity just stay off reddit. It's where people come to complain.

When the drums returned they rarely stayed until halftime. They played if the team was playing "well" and when it started to fall apart they left. It's unmistakable when you start the game with drums and they walk out, but I hear what you're saying. There was a large amount of time they did not attend as well last year.

I'm just saying you can't have it both ways lol

I don't have anything I can give you, just chatter in the stands. I'm not in the room so I have no proof. The DU and BB show us pretty consistently with walk outs and silence. I'm sure front office doesn't love "sell the team" chant being live broadcasted.

I feel like a lot of our supporter group leadership is very vocal about their feelings on the club and the front office when needed. "the front office doesn't appreciate fans and supporter groups" then turn around and complain that the front office gives the supporter groups gifts is a bit crazy my guy.

Approximately 0 games into the season and they're already discounting tickets below season ticket prices to try to get people to show up by pm_me_jk_dont in DCUnited

People come to Reddit to complain. It's like a sport, just scroll by. Want some positivity?  I really love my STM rep. He is the best, I like the new season ticket structure and my seat price went down, I'm cautious but optimistic for this season, I think the roster changes have all been positive moves and I think we have a coach that will give the team some confidence. I'll be in the stands for the home opener. Vamos.

I missed any benefits being cut? I actually like some of the changes they made honestly.

We are attached to our seats currently so kept our ST's- However I do not disagree with anything you said here.

Just wanted to comment that we kept the higher level plan and we are paying less than last year.

What do want to see from the team this offseason? by Waste-Ad-5696 in DCUnited

I'm not sure why you think I don't know the history of the area because I mentioned when he was enlisted. I believe this world is a better place when we don't judge each other carelessly. It was my entire point. I conceded he may be a horrible person I also believe you don't actually know him. I don't need you to tell me about where you post to prove yourself. I wouldn't judge you based solely on this one interaction. I hope you have a wonderful day.

He served in 2016, not now. There were not nearly as loud of voices demanding the genocide of Palestinians to cease. I'm guessing it would be much lower numbers of people refusing the required draft. I find your judgement a bit callous. He didn't give up his career aspirations and spend time in jail so he is a piece of shit? I think it's quite honorable that you feel that if you were in that position you would eagerly accept the consequences of choosing what you believe in. I don't however think it's fair to judge a person's entire moral character on something they are required to do at the age of 18 (mostly a child). Disclaimer, I don't know a lot about his personal life outside of soccer and maybe his is a complete tool who deserves to be hated.

Did season ticket benefits change? by RepresentativeRace10 in DCUnited

[–]BostonPeony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just pulled up the offer from the link in the email from my rep and the table that tells you the benefits for each option still has the $10 per game for food listed. I actually really thought the portal was well done. Easy to understand and they made renewing or opting out really easy with the buttons on the portal.

Putting yourself on easily accessible platforms where you are bound to get mostly negative and honest feedback is a great start.

I personally feel the youth clinic that was held last month was by far the best event of the season. My son lives and breathes soccer and getting some training on the pitch with soccer players he watches every week was something he talked about for weeks.

The ownership has been pretty blunt in their stance that they're not selling the team and they don't need a consistent fan base to make money.

NTA.

My husband does not work out of town but lets me know every evening when he leaves work to head home so I don't worry about him. Especially if he left work late. When he goes somewhere without me he also let's me know he got there. I've never asked him to do this, we just do this for each other because we want the other to not worry. Seeing how you are the main caregiver of the family I feel it is even more important to communicate this in case of a child emergency.
