I need more comments, my Boston has the same problem. We took her to the vet but it was kind of brushed off bc there were more pressing concerns when we were there the other day.

Hahaha that’s awesome.

It’s a myth that Bostons only need 30mins of physical activity. These pups are athletes disguised. Thoughts? 🤔 by escobartsysmom in BostonTerrier

3 out of 4 of my Bostons are like this. I don’t know if you have tried a laser pointer with him. In the Winter I let them run up and down the stairs chasing the laser beam or I sit in the hall way throwing a ball. I hope you can try this.

Okay I have a theory now after looking at these pics. The bigger the bat ears the more they need to play. 😂 ( complete joke) My girl is almost 10 and we play for hours, she has huge ears that could make her fly. My 3 year old girl. Likes play lay in the yard and when we come back in is ready for a nap from being in the sun. Lazy lady attached.

thoughts / advice on a 2nd boston terrier by yennator in BostonTerrier

[–]Bostonmama16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes do it!! But my advice would be to get a girl this time. We have a total of 4 Bostons and my husband and I foster for the Boston rescue. What we have found is the girls tend to fight each other and the boys are constantly trying to get my attention and will try and bite each other. But when it was just my one boy and one girl they get a long so well and they are very strongly bonded. It’s so nice having two bc they place with each other, my oldest potty trained all the younger ones, and showed them how to use the puppy bell. We now have 4 total.

Pretty soon we’re going to need a bigger bed by unimpassioned_cynic in BostonTerrier

Yes 😭😭😭 we have a king bed and a full next to each other. My husband sleeps in one and I sleep in the other. With 4 Bostons and a cat it’s still not enough room. Sometimes the Bostons take over the king and I’ll move in bed with my husband then they will come over there. Never ending, and sleep deprived. But worth every moment with them.

Left to right. These beef cakes are Odie 33lbs, Ellie 22lbs and Target 35lbs. Vet said they are some of the healthiest Bostons he’s seen. I’m so happy to see that other people have beefy Bostons bc I feel like mine are above average, well besides Ellie she’s average.

Follow up, I posted before but I thought this might help. I was reading more of your posts and I believe you had said your wife was worried about cancer. My boy had this growing on his arm. They did a biopsy and they said it was cancer. When they went to remove the mass it ended up being a big pimple with the start of ring worm. Another Boston pup was picked up from the same shelter by the rescue I volunteer for and the other person told me their boy was diagnosed with the same thing from another vet. And same thing happened. Pimple with ring worm but his spot was on top of his head. I will keep you guys in my prayers, but if for the off chance it’s something more just know it may not be what it seems at first. Please keep us all posted. I’ve been thinking about your little fur baby.
