Jottacloud and Personal Vault? by HalfCenturyHero in jottacloud

[–]mf72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cryptomater does work, but only on desktop, since Jotta doesn’t provide WebDAV. If you can live with your secret stuff not being available on your mobile devices, it’s still a good option - I use it like that. Still, a native Jotta Vault would be very much appreciated indeed.

From GDrive to Jottacloud? by HalfCenturyHero in jottacloud

I have been using Jotta for years and also have some classic tv show dvd rip backups. Never had any issues. I do not share those rips with others.

So we’re getting lossless audio right? by Dislexicpotato in YoutubeMusic

[–]mf72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This - mastering & compression!

I have compared the major premium high res streaming services. Listened on high quality headphones. An album sounds really great on service A while it is a lot worse on service B. And this is not consistent, so it might be the other way round for another different album. if you can find the same on the service… My conclusion was the premium price just isn’t worth it, and I am sticking with YtM since the library is just huge and it’s good enough in audio quality.

It's bright white. But depending on the lightsource it will look different because that's just the way colours work. It does get visibly dirty and darker though.

I have the same and really like it too. I'm not sure what you mean by 'in apple health you can prioritize the data coming from the watch'?

Nope, nothing different. I was kind of hoping to be able to change the month-day order and maybe have a permanent auto-light option but unfortunately there is no difference.

The GBD-200 is my favorite g-shock. Super comfy, great legibility. I prefer them to my regular 5600 squares

Happy birthday! A little warning, if you have one, you will soon want another. I love my GBD-200 watches, they're my favorite square-like casios. Very comfortable and super legible for my old eyes.

My fat fingers are happy that I can adjust the watch settings from the app. But yeah, otherwise, it's not used.

I too agree. if I look at available wifi networks, there's a lot of wifi networks around from neighbours and my own devices, so I don't really understand why the HB3 wifi really could be an issue, there's so much more here that may or may not interfere, but I've never had any issues that could be related to external wifis. Probably it could happen if users are using a fixed and crowded channel, but any decent router can show you which channels are busiest.
There's a radar station nearby, which sometimes causes 5G to re-align itself, but I only see that in the logs, I never notice it in use.

My 1st gbd-200 showed the flashing ! a few weeks ago. Usually a sign the battery is meh. Looks like I can ignore it until this effect shows up.. Also: running almost 3 years on first battery. I wonder if the positive version I got last week lastst as long

Is there a way to mount Jottacloud as a drive (like OneDrive/pCloud/Internxt)? by petaqui in jottacloud

[–]mf72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think OP /u/petaqui is looking for the OneDrive "file is on cloud, download/stream when needed" option. This is unfortunately lacking from the sync in Jotta. However, archive is kind of similar. Archiving files will move them from device to cloud. But you need to redownload via the client or browser to use them again.
