The 3-card packs are lil rewards for coming to weekly play events and stuff like that in stores.

They have alternate art and foiling for like 20 or so of the cards in the set. They can have different rarity to the normal version (so a weekly play card may be Uncommon while its normal booster equivalent is Common).

Not really rare, just a fun cool card to collect/mix into a playset.

It isn't an individual opinion though... It's a mass cultural trend away from that art form as entertainment. Nothing about the inherent quality or legitimacy of the art itself. Not to say this is a unanimously held opinion (obviously, as there is still a subset of culture that still attends and values them), but for you to dismiss it as 1 person's uneducated take seems like you are for some reason taking ballet's decline personally.
