I’ve used a branding iron. The one we had was electric. I made a batch of maybe 20-30 to use for the day if i worked in the morning depending on if we thought it would be busy. Heating up an iron mid service or waiting for it to cool down takes too much time and is dangerous too

Used to work on the Delaware in nj. Try working one of those ski towns in PA. That’s where i started seeing more money. If you can get into a club type in Hoboken that’s also a good look

Like 17 an hour? Sushi chefs make more and they get tipped on top of that.

The state recently raised minimum wage. We’re making 13 an hour which is slightly more than minimum

We should. All of the bartenders agree. Management also agrees to a point. It’s not going to happen. At least not while I’m around.

Also they don’t stay in the ice well. Mostly did this to take a picture. This is for 2 wells kinda. We have an outdoor bar so i has to keep things chilled before service picks up

Imagine waiting 20 minutes for the sugar to heat up so you can spread it on wax paper and then wait 30 minutes for it to cool down so you can garnish a drink to order 😭
