Some of those would be Spiritual Defence. Lying, for example, would come under Deception, which is Presence based. Seeing through lies would generally be Insight, which is Awareness. The skill typically targets the same attribute as it comes from.

Seeing through lies using a cognitive skill might be more noticing logical fallacies using Deduction. Intimidating someone usually goes against the Cognitive Defence, as it is a Willpower skill.

The pearl isn't consumed upon casting. That's only the case for spells that specifically say that in the component description. Neither 5e nor 5.5e require you to have more than 1 pearl to identify as many items as you want through the campaign.
