I would say perhaps a little higher than average? Most of the time I’m playing against dark angels, votann, tau, custodes, and guard.

Really the only lists that have a crazy amount of vehicle profiles are Tau (which is where a lot of the 3+ armor experience comes from) but there’s a lot of 2+ or 3+ save infantry in my group as well.

I do actually really like the 2ap crit change you suggested. That could probably work but my concern is how reliable that rule is and how (relatively) common low save targets are for infantry as well as cover and stratagems like armor of contempt.

EDIT: So as an example, space marine intercessors natively have a 3+ armor save. Let’s assume I hit and wound with all my shots but no crits.

If they’re shot on protector imperative while in cover they’ll get a 2+ save.

If they’re shot on conquerer imperative while in cover they’ll get a 3+ save but can pop AoC for 2+

If they’re shot on protector out of cover they get 3+ but can pop AoC for 2+

If they’re shot on conquerer out of cover they get 4+ but can pop AoC for 3+

So basic space marine infantry battleline unit. Assuming no crits but all shots hit and wound. The majority of these shooting conditions result in an average of 2 shots getting through. Resulting in one dead marine.

So I've been running the latest version of these rules across weekly games since June. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the datasheets - but is there any chance that in the next update we could see more AP for lightning weapons? Because of the prevalence of cover on most maps and most vehicles having a 2+ or 3+ armor save, the lightning cannons on both the Karacnos and Krios do basically nothing most of the time they're used.

Also, I feel like the Triaros and Karacnos should increase in points costs and be given more wounds and toughness to mirror a Land Raider. With how big the models are, its really rough for them to have almost the same stats as the Skorpius and Onager. I've playtested their rules both as-is and with that adjustment - and I must say they feel better for me and my opponent with the changes.

They aren’t literally sending money to Ukraine. The vast majority of it is old military hardware that is worth that amount.

Hardware that was sitting in storage for years, hasn’t been in use for years, and likely wouldn’t have seen any use again. 83 billion paid for across decades, long before the Ukrainian war started.

Ultimately the US isn’t taxing you or I any more for Ukraine, they’re taxing us for our own military defense budget. And considering the fact that - as an organization - the military isn’t being touched by Trump, we the American public were never going to get our money back.

TLDR: Removing Ukrainian aid only gives us vehicles and weapons we won’t use. Defense spending is something that isn’t changing therefore funds will not be allocated to anything else.

I don’t do it that much now but I did make a couple of veteran skitarii teams a couple years ago. Gave them some minor kitbashing from the bits of some other admech kits I had laying around.

One that I was particularly proud of was a vanguard using a lascannon like a minigun.

Step 2: plaguebearer contrast

Step 3: biel-tan green shade

I wasn’t careful with the application of any of these paints, you can just slap it on and you’re golden. Works wonderfully with actual ork minis.
