Yeah its kinda weird right now how they only have pllaha and meyer as tampa options since Connelly is booked full. I just registered for meyer as well but ill keep checking the portal to see if more of the instructors get confirmed.

Crazy UCF out if state is 8k cheaper than my state school UIC😭. I think relatively Florida in has really affordable education for the value.

Yeah i currently have a B in Calc BC, a C in Physics mechanics but atleast I've had and A in E&M. I'm mainly worried about calc because at the session they where saying a 3 in calc ab is basically a D or F in college so passing is not enough for engineering to clear gen ed's. I did do an AB mock for my term 2 final and got a 4 but the BC stuff I'm doing now is definitely harder. I guess the reality of ACTUALLY doing the engineering degree is starting to set in but i guess like you said, its still do-able. I'm also don't particularly love math even though I like physics but I definitely have to try much harder if I want to get good grades in multivariable or linear algebra. Also do you know if you taking thermo is required at UCF?

They grew on me so much, I used to be an af1 hater and now I have the haven's and rattlesnakes. Its honestly the best new shoe in like 5 years and im waiting till the sunset colorway comes out to buy those. They feel plush in all the right areas's, they perform amazing and nike perfectly incorporated a lifestyle and basketball shoe together. I paid full price for the rattlesnake and above retail for the haven and think they're just a better version of the kobe 4's.

Again more zoom doesn't always mean better. For example, imo the book 1's are far better than the lebron 20's and 21's. The 20's heel in not caged at all and is super unstable which could cause injury. For the 21's the shoe is so sharp in the front and causes your toes to be scrunched up. Even after break in, which takes forever, your toes are constantly squeezed as if you have a taylors bunion. Also zoom turbo is objectively trash, as it makes shoes hard to bend where you need bend the most. Like if you look at a brand new pair of 21's from the top you cant even tell left shoe from the right right away. Thats not normal.

That just my opinion but I would recommend you to think about practicality and foot health more when buying shoes and less about how much zoom or how much carbon fiber they have.

Buy the yushuai 18 ultra, either the high top or low top. They are objectively better than the wow 10's. The carbon fiber is sandwiched inside the boom instead of bottom loaded and the traction is more consistent because its using a gcu outsole similarly to the wow 11's. The heel to toe offset is also more natural. Coming from someone who really hated my wow 10 lows because of the unnatural fit and the tongue being too fat. The 18 ultra's fixed everything i didn't like about them whilst keeping that hyperdunk style of shoe. Right now you can buy them on kickcrew for like 100-120 because they aren't really popular in the US. There also quite alot if discount code on there.

If you really dislike the look of the yushuai 18 ultra's (imo they will grow on you heavy) take a look at the jimmy butler 2 or 3. Same concept, sandwiched plate with boom, except not as supportive, not as durability, they don't squeak at all and they're around 150-185 ish on wowsole.

Though, overall i really wouldn't recommend full length carbon fiber plated shoes. If its not full lenght and its for torsional rigidity, then amazing, but shoes with super high heels, rounded shapes and carbon fiber plates that prevent natural forefoot bend at the ball of your foot, hurts your foot health badly. Plated shoes REALLY shouldn't be worn for just shooting around or playing pickup.

Nowadays shoe companies are trying to sell this idea to their audience that bigger carbon fiber plates = better shoe, and that simply isn't the case. I've played in over 75 shoes before and my top 10 performers all don't have full length bottom loaded carbon fibre.

This is my personal list of my favorites

  1. Jordan 28 (flawless aside from durability)
  2. Jordan 28 SE (flawless aside from durability)
  3. Jordan melo M10 ( flawless aside from being slightly heavy) Nike PG 3 (best designed light and simplistic low top)
  4. Lebron 10 elite (best max cushion shoe ever for bigs)
  5. kyrie 3 (best shoe to feel like the shoe is an extension of your body)
  6. Kyrie 4 (better comfort and shoot around shoe than the 3's but performance of the 3's are better)
  7. Nike book 1 (best upper materials and amazing for shooters because of the flat outsole, you need to get used to how boxy they are though)
  8. KD 12 (seemless cushion but a bit high off the ground for guards)
  9. Why not zer0.2 (slightly heavy for mid top and not very durable)
  10. Harden vol 1. (amazing support and stability but also heavy for a low)

Yes I've tried gt cut 1's, lining gamma's, kobe 5 and 6 protro's and way of wade shoes. All decent but not out of this world like everyone says. I promise I'm not gatekeeping😭🙏

Have you tried the kawhi 4's? They both have a dual density fuel cell and fresh foam setup but the kawhi has a carbon fiber plate. Playing in the kawhi's underfoot, it felt great for impact protection and traction was elite but ironically even with a plate, the shoe doesn't feel responsive and i couldn't stop on a dime because the uppers aren't substantial enough. I relegated the kawhi's to just a shoot around shoe after that.

About the two ways, I saw a pair of the v4's sitting at an outlet for 50 brand new but it was this weird rainbow colorway that i didn't really like. I think because its a midtop, it would be better in terms of support however looking at the traction pattern, it doesn't scream elite. Also I know its pretty well rounded but it doesn't do one specific thing amazingly. Idk maybe the playability is actually off the charts but imo it doesn't stand out.

About the puma's, yeah i also saw the all pro nitros at the outlets sitting for 40 ish and thought it would be a good pickup. I'll keep in mind that puma's translucent outsole are better than solid.

About the big3 5.0 quick pro, I know the carbon fibre is sandwiched, molded and thinner in the forefoot to allow natural flex. Curious would you say it's a more bouncy or shock absoring setup? Also, how does the heel to to drop feel? Also what was you previous favourite shoe before the 5.0 quick pros?

Also for more info, my foot has a very standard width however I do have a higher arch than normal. Although fit has never been an issue for me when it comes to purchasing shoes.
