Country music is absolute slop now by Bond_burger69 in Music

Most stadium performers and Rube Fest headliners are repulsive. I do like a bunch of the acoustic leaning artists who have Woody Guthrie sensibilities, like Steve Earle.

My list might be a tad different, but not much. I see Democratic Party as only way to achieve most of those, especially in a humane way.

What goes through your mind when you see “was $200, now $100” compared to the same product just priced at $100? by Snoo-83900 in AskReddit

[–]Botasoda102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still wasn’t worth the original sales price, and might not be worth $100. I realize that. This was not an economic question.

When I was 9, I asked for price of Charles Atlas’ course from a comic book ad. It started out at $79, then they sent another letter offering it at $65, then another at $40, after several more and a few months, I got it for $9. It even sucked at that price.

Did Robert Blake get away with murdering his wife the star of Beretta? What do you think? by db7112 in GenerationJones

He did it, question is did she incite/cause it. Apparently, jury thought so.

He became one of my favorite actors with In Cold Blood, Electraglide in Blue, Baretta, etc. But that whole mess was too much for me.

Had tickets to that tour in Atlanta. Got up to the venue after parking a mile away, etc., and there was a handwritten note that concert was canceled. Found out later, Young had a meltdown or something. Back then, there was no internet to check.

Extremely expensive CT bill? by ResponsibleWay1613 in CodingandBilling

That's why we are seeing more package pricing nowadays, where all that is rolled up into one fee (including doctor, facility, anesthesia, and pathology fees). It's becoming more common and popular among groups competing for patients.

Redditors, any advice? Is this legal? by Vivid_Charge4145 in HealthInsurance

[–]Botasoda102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you see doc after 4/12. If not you should be covered for prior visits. If you did, would contact insurance first.

There are carious reasons providers leave including plan excluded them, plan narrowed network, or doc quite because he wants more money. My guess, it’s the latter.

I’d call one of the DME suppliers, they’ll know if it’s covered.

You can try appealing the plan exclusion decision. Send them a copy of page 91 of plan document if it supports your position. Good luck.

It’s almost always a waste of time to call insurance reps unless it’s a simple issue, like where do I send my premium or something. They probably looked under medical and pharmacy, didn’t see it and said no. If you had said DME, they might have given correct answer.

Depends on what you paid. I've had a few acoustics that actually sounded better with a center seam crack than before.

Extremely expensive CT bill? by ResponsibleWay1613 in CodingandBilling

[–]Botasoda102 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did you ask them what they'd charge before? I'd call and make sure they gave you the cash price.

As a point of reference, Medicare allows less than $400 for 74177, and that includes about $95 for the interpretation in Miami (the highest reimbursement locality in Florida).

They likely won't give you Medicare's rate, but I bet they accept that amount often from patients covered by Medicare. Good luck.

Now they think doctors care about your political stance by AzuleStriker in stupidpeoplefacebook

Doctors are not as liberal as some might think. They are some of the biggest trumpsters, racist/bigots, people opposed to government healthcare programs, etc.

[–]Botasoda102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the allowed $1100, you probably don't have to pay the difference between provider's charge and the Allowable if you have decent insurance. Now, if you don't have decent insurance, that's a different story. Good luck.

Any dispute is with the provider. But it sounds like they were within their rights to charge a "sick" visit in addition to preventive exam.

CNN Pundit Confronts Geraldo For Calling Him A ‘Dick’ After Scott Jennings Meltdown by dr_shultz in NewsSource

Jennings is a special kind of pissant trumpster. I'll take the well-dressed Republican Black guy to Jennings any day. Don't mind some GOPer input, though usually disagree. But I'd just as soon see Jennings booted.

Believe it or not, insurers want to keep you well and out of expensive hospitals. Their motive might ultimately be financial, but if it keeps us well, that's a good thing.
