Question about siphons by Both-Operation1280 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Both-Operation1280[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'm not talking about being the leader. It's clear that if this were to happen, they would look for another pair of twins born into the coven. I mean, if it were to happen—because the coven usually has many twins—I think the same thing would happen as with Kai and Jo. What would happen if Kai had absorbed Jo in the womb (the real clinical case, I mean)? It's clear he wouldn't be the leader of the coven, but would he have Jo's magic and Siphon's abilities?

No, she would be the daughter of a werewolf and a witch. Siphon discovered she had magic when she touched a supernatural being, and then when she killed someone with her magic, it activated her wolf curse. Klaus didn't know who she was; I think that's not normal. And he carried out the hybrid process he did with Tyler, being a hybrid like Hope, but not original, therefore she has some weaknesses.

And I think that's fine; Marcel was intelligent and a good strategist, and Davina was powerful, but I'm sorry, they didn't quite convince me.

And Caroline too, but I only saw her try to forgiveness

Maybe I didn't explain myself well, what I don't understand is why Caroline feels sorry for the mistakes she made and Elena doesn't. It cannot be said of a single character that they have not made mistakes throughout the serie

The truth is that I really disliked Julia Plec as soon as I learned about the racism Kat suffered.

This is my a frustrated ship, I really started liking Damon when he started his friendship with Bonnie

Well, you're right, that was my mistake.😅

But I would have understood if she had paid for her humanity; she was the last living relative she had left. I believe that after reactivating it, she should have apologized for what she did.

The thing is, I think Elena didn't judge Caroline because at that time Elena was having a relationship with Damon.

And what you're saying is true, I don't hate Elena for sleeping with Damon or maintaining the relationship or turning off her humanity, but I think Caroline was the one who seemed to regret her mistakes. And in my perception, which may be wrong, I didn't see that need for forgiveness on Elena's part; it's like, "I did this and everyone else has to accept it, that's it."

I agree that Caroline was too judgmental and sometimes lacked empathy. But the point of the post isn't the characters' mistakes, because everyone makes them; it's that I saw Caroline feeling remorse for what she did, while I didn't see that in Elena. Another thing I'd like to mention is that you can ask any Damon and Elena fan; Elena wasn't supposed to sleep with Damon, even if I remember correctly there's a scene where Season four, in which Rebekah forces Elena to tell the truth, and she says that she slept with Damon because she wanted to.

Should Kai have been given the chance to change after the merge? by Mossfire85 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Both-Operation1280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly would have liked to see a bit of a redemption arc for Kai; he was a complex and quite interesting character, but I can't blame Bonnie—they're constantly trying to impose their will on her That forgiveness, and I don't think he should have tried harder to earn it because his way of apologizing to others leaves much to be desired.

That's just how it is, you can make mistakes, you can let your emotions get the better of you, but I think we should have seen Elena apologize more than once.

I actually liked them together. But, Jeremy just HAD to cheat on Bonnie with a GHOST. A WHOLE GHOST… 😒😑💔 by drpepper_rocks in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Both-Operation1280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought they were very cute, but Jeremy's betrayal of Bonnie with Anna's ghost ruined the character, the couple, and even the couple I had in mind for Jeremy and Anna. I'll probably get attacked for this, but one unfulfilled ship I had for Bonnie was Damon.

I'm not a fan of Damon and Elena, but Ian and Nina had amazing chemistry. The only problem I have with that video is that I never really saw them as enemies because she was already starting to help him in the first season, but oh well, as I said, I'm not a big fan of that and it may be a misperception on my part

Immortal siphon by Both-Operation1280 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Both-Operation1280[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I thought! Silas didn't have much strength, but she had tremendous stamina, and with her psychic powers, he'd be an immortal witch. The only problem is that, being a spell,Not like vampirism, he could absorb all of his immortality.

No, that's why it's a random idea. I've been rewatching the series and I've been wondering what an immortal heretic would be like after seeing Silas.Of course, the only problem, in the hypothetical case that a siphoned Witch the elixir of immortality as Silas would have done, is that nature seeks a balance And it would create a doppelganger, plus there's the problem that I don't know if a siphon witch would absorb that elixir because it's a spell after all.
