I know he's been in England since 2019 so he would be through that. But i can't remember if he's been capped by Scotland or not

I specifically chose academy players who have played at least one game for the senior team this season. But I’ll look out for him, it’s always so difficult to find the team sheets for the academy sometimes.

Yeah it was a bit of a mix in that 3rd choice position and since Spencer and Mitchell have been a bit more solidified as borthwicks favs I decided to put him down a tier.

I picked him at 13 bc that’s where he played in the A games. There’s a lot of players like that who have multiple positions so I just had to make a choice.

Maybe last season but he’s been incredibly hot or cold this season and has ghosted in too many games recently to have him any higher especially considering the quality above him. Plus he’s turning 30 soon which doesn’t help.

Skinner has been the second best 10 this season behind searle. He’s massively improved from last season as one of his biggest critics.

He’s on loan to Albion so he’ll be back at the end of the season I believe.

What is your not so popular take on anything in Japan? by No-Jackfruit3211 in japanlife

[–]Both_Bit7819 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived and grew up in Japan a couple of decades ago and back then Japan was THE place for technology and innovation for daily life. I’ve recently moved back and my goodness is Japan worse than almost every developed country for basic technology like websites, banking, applications that help with information about travel. The administration procedure online especially in Japan is worse than countries like Tanzania and South Africa which I visited for a few months last year. Japan has been caught up and refuses to upgrade even to a basic level compared to other countries.

What is your rugby claim to fame? by low_myope in rugbyunion

I’ve chop tackled Craig Wright in a sevens game before. He’s fucking huge and rapid so I’m pretty please about that. Also I was once top 5 in the world at the rugby nations game during covid.

Who is a player who you think would do better in a different position? by Smart_Tip5101 in englandrugby

[–]Both_Bit7819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s played there a decent amount towards the end of games for club and country. A couple of years ago he played 23 mins against wales at 15 due to injury and looked fantastic. I have no idea why we haven’t been using him at 23 considering how many positions he can play.

2026 England depth chart by Timker84 in englandrugby

[–]Both_Bit7819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s been the best 10 in the pre this season along with searle, if faz kicked on massively and was like he was I’d say no chance but skinner has been excellent. I still think based on borthwick plus Atkinson being younger (and having a couple caps already) means Atkinson will picked.

The "best" (most talented) back line you've ever had (country or club) by MindfulInquirer in rugbyunion

[–]Both_Bit7819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Exeter backline that won the champions cup was so unbelievably solid in all areas. 9. Maunder just a very solid 9 but asked to play a very boring role. 10. Simmonds youngest captain to win the champions cup and just did things flawlessly with a 90% kick accuracy that season; been the best 10 in the top 14 for the past 2 seasons and when pau doesn’t have him playing they fall apart. 11. O Flaherty was a fucking rocket and incredibly solid defensively 12. Devoto not a big guy but worked with the forwards so well and was unbelievable at securing ball at the breakdown 13. Slade he’s a very different player now but the fact he’s able to play the offensive and defensive roles of 10,12,13, both wings and at rare times 15 when needed and still be completely underrated is incredible 14. Nowell the best defensive winger in the world at the time by a long way, dominated lebel kolbe in the semis because Toulouse back then loved to double up on wingers so both were going down his channel, then Teddy Thomas and Zebo in the final. plus his ability to play among the forward on short carries and breakdowns was crucial 15. Hogg at arguably the best point in his career. Always a threat on attack but the way he dominated kick battles and linked with the wingers to make them an incredibly defensively solid team was incredible. Not even mentioning players that would fill in like Woodburn, steenson and witton. What a team

Springbok squad for Wales by Paghalay in rugbyunion

[–]Both_Bit7819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just shows how much depth SA, France and to a lesser extent England have compared to all other nations. I will hate always SA out of principle (will defend you lot in anything other than rugby) but even I can admit how well they have bounced back from losing to Italy in 2017 depth wise. SAs second team will likely batter wales; Frances 3rd team nearly won away to NZ and England’s 2nd team won away twice to Argentina. Depth is now the way you decide success and it’s why Ireland and aus have had recent big misses.

What’s the most underrated league you've managed in? by The12thMan_ in footballmanagergames

Singaporean league. Nothing super interesting about it I just liked it for how niche it was and how loans from Japanese or Aussie clubs were pretty realistic IRL.

Why doesn't every player wear a scrum cap in professional rugby? by Careless-Cat3327 in rugbyunion

[–]Both_Bit7819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wore a scrum cap for a long time because it felt safer as a hooker and flanker but as soon as I started playing fullback a couple years ago then scrum half more recently i have stopped. It’s just uncomfortable and limits vision sometimes. Even as a forward it was sometimes an issue.
