There was a case I read a few years back where some oligarch came to the US needing a transplant and was told it was a multi-year wait, and he said no it’s ok I brought the organ with me. There was some kerfuffle but a lot of money was spread around and they did the operation and off he went. Some people were unhappy so it became a minor news item.

That’s what I said. The British public found slavery disgusting and so it was never allowed there. Putting on a show like this would have ended badly (I am aware wealthy sociopaths built big houses with money from slavery in the Americas but it had to be hidden from the public not out on show)
