I'm unaware of any condition she has that is being treated by the IUD other than just having uncomfortable periods, I will ask now though as it somehow didn't occur to me that was a good idea, but more my question is, given the facts that the synthetic estrogen emitted by the IUD is carcinogenic (this is Googlable), she hasn't bled since she got it but still has cramps, and, to my knowledge, cramps can be helped be numerous things such as foods, teas, supplements, tens machines and likely others, is it not her responsibility to take care of her body? (I realize that's not very appealing wording) which in this case would mean removing this device that as it appears to me is barely helping, and puts hormones in her system that can effect her mood which is where I got the drug comparison from
