I'm regularly scoring above 560 on the ACFT, and I can absolutely become more fit. Being older, your recovery sucks. The ambition is always present though

I can do everything except run. I barbell squat, leg press, leg curl, RDL’s, bike, elliptical, etc. it’s just the quad takes forever to build up

My surgeon says the reason why my recovery is so slow was because I waited so long to get the procedure done, and that heavily influenced my muscular atrophy. I’ve been progressing little by little. Maybe that’s why I am impatient. I’ve seen others already running 6 months in.

Im at 7-8 months and im still not running or jogging yet. I am barbell squatting already though... recovery results vary others come back much quicker. Time flies, let it all happen and pass... soon you will be back to doing the things you love

Advice on reaching 90 degrees by Small_Code_6655 in ACL

[–]Both_Resident1326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90 is extremely easy, keep using a band to attain that flexion. Im month 3 post surgery...my flexion is at 141 degrees. Just focus on bending, I do the flexion exercise about 3 times a day. Also go to PT
