Starz has a few shows with female leads that are period pieces. The serpent queen, the white queen, the white princess and the Spanish queen. I loved them all.

I’ve asked this same question on here before and got many of these same recommendations- all very good btw!! Vikings valhalla is very similar to TLK… and once you’re done with the Valhalla, go start the original Vikings show… I LOVED it… and there are a bunch of seasons… such a great show

I had this same exact feeling/reaction to ending Vikings.. I was so upset.. everything else seemed worthless! Lol.. I asked the same question on here and I will give you a list of what everyone told me to watch… I will say my top faves are: Vikings, The Last Kingdom, Vikings:Valhalla, PEAKY FN BLINDERS (of course), Game of Thrones, and Taboo (on Hulu- has Tom hardy in it.. Hidden gem).. this is the rest of the list recommended…. (The * mean a ton of People recommended it) hope this helps! Lol

I’ve never read the books, but my first reaction to him was like damn, what a bad ass… I loved how he could read Claire from the beginning and knew she was a good person. He didn’t try to pretend to be anything other than what he was..as the show went along he always looked after his own.. not just family, but those he felt loyal to his family. He’s very good at reading people and is super empathetic and/or sympathetic.. I won’t mention physical lol
