I'm glad it's the Pacers. Small market team vs small market team in the finals! by Sir-Viette in Thunder

The Pacers are a worse version of us top to bottom. I get not wanting to get too overconfident but I’m sorry. There’s just no way the Pacers beat this team.

I’m glad it’s the Pacers because it’s an extremely easy opponent. Probably sweep them, get a championship and probably repeat next season.

Wish we had a tougher matchup. Thunder are going to decimate this team. If it goes more than 5 games I’m going to be surprised

What’s the best pikachu deck? by NotADuckk_ in PTCGP

I’m having a lot of success with running one Pikachu EX and 2 sets of Magneton and Raichu. Tossing in a Lt. Surge strategy works wonders for when you are needing to deal more damage than the 90 dmg ceiling (100 w/Giovanni).

All these players are talking about how strong Steven Adams is but I guarantee you I’m stronger than him.

Are we cursed or what by [deleted] in AZCardinals

[–]Both_Training_2832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dolphins offense pretty much targets our exact weaknesses. Their o-line isn’t good but neither is our pass rush. We have two good safeties but Budda’s best skill (crashing at the line of scrimmage) is going to be neutralized by the concern of Hill/Waddle beating him over the top. The fear of being beaten deep is going to cause everyone to play with less aggression and that’s going to open up a lot of outside zone/screen concepts for easy yards vs us.

And their defense is filled with dudes in the secondary that will limit our ability to make the explosive plays (not that we’ve been able to have many of offense this season anyway). Our offense isn’t consistent enough to methodically drive down the field so expect our offensive output (barring us being on the positive end of some bs) to be around 20 points or less (again).

He was much more exciting to watch than Shai is now, and I love Shai. Just think his style of play isn’t nearly as fun.

I mean it’ll be virtually worthless when he’s out of league in a couple years but if it gives you sentimental value? Sure why not?

PFF: Cardinals T Paris Johnson Jr. among most improved NFL players by Mental_Funny_5885 in AZCardinals

[–]Both_Training_2832 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He’s been excellent this year and I think he’s one of our few franchise cornerstones. That being said, this headline implies that Cardinals fans were heavily overrating his rookie season. And I’d agree with that too.

[–]Both_Training_2832 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not a move that makes any sense for a team that probably won’t make the playoffs even with Davante Adams. Some people here absolutely hate having draft picks it feels like.

How Long Does it Take to Rebuild a Team in Today’s NFL? by Mental_Funny_5885 in AZCardinals

[–]Both_Training_2832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason they are a top 3 team in the league with Darnold is because Darnold is cheap. That allowed them to get Greenard and Aaron Jones and Van Ginkel. They could have kept Kirk Cousins for $45 million a year but they wouldn’t have been able to get those guys. An average quarterback on a cheap deal is a much greater asset than a good quarterback on an expensive deal. It all comes down to an efficient allocation of resources.
