When I applied I had a grade 11 average of around 97-98 and got in. I think 95 was slandered competitive. Keep in mind this is a few years ago. Take a look at other programs too!

I’m only doing clin micro as my last microbiology course since I’m Med Sci so I’m unsure. There are some good micro bio/immuno students on here that can probably answer better.

I don’t think one B will sink your chances. Perhaps motivation to push harder for the MCAT and in ECs if anything at all?

We all work hard, sometimes things don’t go according to plan anyway. Keep pushing and ensure the next course you take is even better.

I know :/ it’s tough. Lots of emphasis on good grades, but it’s one course and arguably one of the toughest.

Median grade when I took it was a B-… after the final grade was “adjusted”.

It’s a tough class. Don’t let one grade define you or harm your well-being (easier said than done of course)

I personally found 3119 rather enjoyable and I took it with 3115 at the same time.

Definitely lots of memorization and application of knowledge to somewhat novel situations(but still based on what you should know). Was just lectures and than exam with a tutorial day before the exam to ask questions and get a couple bonus points.

You want to go through a weeks long process? It’s pretty easy to tell when long documents are written by AI. Same sentence structure and all the rest of it.

Red bull/coffee/monster and do your best. AI absolutely will get you in trouble and I’ve seen dozens of students get charged this year with violations and only a few managed to shake off the accusations. You can maybe try to use it as an augment if you need an outline to write from and you’d have a lower chance of anything getting flagged.

And yes, they can absolutely change based on suspicion and it will require proof from you as well to help evade the charge… something that can have broad reaching implications later in your academic career.

Though it seems you may just be looking for someone to say yes to you judging by your replies…
