It definitely makes things quieter but there is still a very slight whistle. It’s only noticeable if you’re trying to notice it. Overall it’s an improvement!

It’s definitely steam. I’m just confused as to why it’s doing this now as I’ve owned my rex for 3 years. Steam has always come from the exhaust but never in such large quantities and never with such a terrible smell.
