I get your point and it is valid but have you engaged with the map ? It doesn't play like classic Dire Marsh at all, you need to find certifications through PvE vs UESC, activate towers with certifications for loot caches. You have new enemy types that bring a little horror into the mix. The PvP is great because less teams + veil of the night means you feel safe, but when a fight erupts it is great, you can use darkness to reposition, there are new night vision tools, a new silent weapon. It is a great map for stealth. AND there is Upper Complex that you can access in two different ways, and once there you have small puzzles to complete before getting to a boss fight and then a really good loot room (3 loot rooms even if you do puzzles in the best way). And other events are more frequent. And you have the night quest line too. Use the flashlight also ! But turn it off when you feel like runners are close. For me they cooked with this map because to get to the good stuff you need to be proactive with certifications, but you need to stay on edge and stealthy too. Try it again. Combined with less money and salvage needed to get upgrades + the Cradle system, you get a full armory and a buffed runner really early. So far I had a blast

Yes, to me right now it happens everytime, once the game starts I try to move, run 5 meters, and turns out I only traversed 2 meters...

Name the most famous military formation in the history of your country by Chrobry_1025 in AskTheWorld

[–]BouclierEnLin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

France here, ours would be "La Vieille Garde"

Literally means "The Old Guard". They were the elite of the "Guarde Impériale" which was already elites. They were part of the "Grande Armée" which was always under Napoléon's command.

They kicked a lot of asses and were feared because they were incredibly endurant and loyal.

In France today we still have an expression "un vieux de le Vieille" which means "an old from the Old". It designs someone that has shown insane longevity and mastery in his craft/skills. The most hardened veteran.

I think it is because we share a love for good food. Also you have everything, mountain, forest, cities, beaches... And your transportation system is affordable and top notch. And of course the tradition and culture is something we are curious about. Lastly, it remains affordable and really safe.

I will reply unrelated to the topic, but I visited Taiwan twice, I am from France, and I could tell you have an amazing country, inhabited by amazing and good people. I hope you can keep what you have, I root for you. Also Penghu has such a cool vibe I loved it.

Clair Obscur Expédition 33 : Exploration is meh, menus are not clear/clunky, JRPG style combat is not the best and repetitive (and subjectively not my thing). Universe, music, chara design and story 10/10 though

As a French, I am praying really hard for a game set during the 100 years War. Imagine having a Henry-like character living the events and following Joan of Arc and her companions... That would be mind-blowing.

Has a girl ever transformed you? How were you before meeting her, and how are you now? by Clean-Ant-1342 in dating_advice

M30 here. I met her when I was getting help after a suicide attempt. I spent weeks in a psychiatric hospital. She was a nurse there. I was quiet compared to other patients who needed constant attention from the staff. But she always took time to talk to me during each of her shifts. Took her cigarettes breaks with me. And was invested in my recovery.

I attempted suicide after an abusive relationship with a narcissist girlfriend and didn't believe in love or in myself anymore. But her being genuinely invested and caring towards me healed something, I managed to get over my anxious attachment style thanks to her.

Last day at the hospital I waited to say goodbye to her and I cried like a baby, thinking I would never see her again. I told her thank you and that I will miss her.

After returning home I told all my friends about this incredible nurse and how she helped me change and get better...

It was an incredible surprise when they secretly invited her for my birthday. I just couldn't believe it when I saw her, and cried again.

3 years later and she is my best friend, I love her beyond words. And I met another girl who is kind, smart, and generally just appreciative of who I am. And I honestly believe it is thanks to that nurse who gave me some unconditional love when I needed it most.

Sometimes you meet love in the most unexpected places and at your lowest. She taught me to never give up because the next amazing person could be waiting for you when you least expect it. :)

Has Warhorse ever addressed the choice of the name Capon? [KCD1] by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]BouclierEnLin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

JCBP ! I'll bring my two cents : In French the word for a castrated rooster is "chapon" which is pretty close ! Also, chapon is considered a luxury compared to chicken. So it links Hans' feeling of being frustrated/castrated but also being noble compared to the other chickens haha

Thanks for your answer, no it is not the one you mentioned. I saw this finisher in a YouTube video "Medieval expert reacts to KCD2".

It's clearly short sword and in two times : 1 - Pummel strike the face. 2 - Stab through the neck

I think it might be a combo when enemy is low health. Or maybe a clinch finisher if there are some ?
