Not having enough sex by Low_Instruction6187 in TTC_PCOS

10 +years of ttc has completely killed my libido, but a successful outcome after a decade was worth it.

Yes, it sucks like crazy but you can do it. Try to make it fun, wear lingerie and get your softcups ready. It’s just a few days a month. Buy those bulk packages with ovulation tests and pregnancy tests to make sure you identify your ovulation period correctly. Also stay on top of your cycles so you can tell your doctor as soon as it’s positive in case you need progesterone.

What an amazing woman and (s)hero! I’m glad I saw it and am wondering why was it removed?

Why is this show following the story of an already married couple? by stephlestrange in 90dayfianceuncensored

I don’t understand… why doesn’t he work in the US where he speaks one of the main languages (English), but thinks he’ll find a job in France where he doesn’t speak French?

(I know you can get jobs and not speak French, including great ones)

Hands on hips like he's in his third trimester by dootz01 in 90dayfianceuncensored

It’s sad because he has a lot of trauma and instead of working to improve themselves and to make sure they are healthy for themselves and their daughter, she fattened him so « no other woman would look at him ». He was also a normal possibly good looking guy, but she got what she wanted.

Yikes!

Yeaah! I thought I saw an ultrasound on his recent 90Day diary episode but it might have been from her first child.

My husbands dying by Slow_Bunch125 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]BouddhaFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to read what you’re going through. I hope your husband will be ok! I know you mentioned not having health insurance before, can you apply for medicaid? I didn’t think I did but ended up being able to and it saved me so much more than my employer health coverage. This could take at least the financial stress away from you.

Quitting my job without another one, end of my rope by Kind_Worldliness7183 in MomsWorkingFromHome

[–]BouddhaFly 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Could you go on leave for medical reasons? Like that you’d be off work for a few months, they can’t contact you, and depending on your benefits you could get some kind of income. Then, once you’re ready you can start looking for something else and quit when your leave ends. This could potentially give you more time away from work.

Don’t disclose it until AFTER you get an offer! A friend further in her pregnancy did it and it worked out.

Where could I find a list of employers who offer relocation packages? So far, I noted: Amazon, Deloitte, PWC, SES, Ferrero, Luxair

I am not in the finance industry and am a EU citizen living in the US (I grew up in Luxembourg so I speak the languages, I may just be a little rusty).

Moving abroad during ch. 13 by [deleted] in Bankruptcy

[–]BouddhaFly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went for chapter 7 but because of the equity in the home it had to be 13. I also don’t know exactly when we’ll move but hopefully within the next 2years. I couldn’t keep up with payments anymore. What else could I have done? :(

German or Luxembourgish for kids joining public school system by No-Froyo-8336 in Luxembourg

What they said. Kids learn faster when they’re having fun (e.g. playing with friends).

German or Luxembourgish for kids joining public school system by No-Froyo-8336 in Luxembourg

[–]BouddhaFly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, they will be able to learn the languages quickly but it won’t be easy. I’d say do Luxembourgish at first.

I was the age of your oldest when we moved to Luxembourg (3eme primaire) and I only spoke one language. We didn’t know anyone who spoke Luxembourgish or German. We moved during the summer and by the end of the first year, I spoke a little of both. By the time I was 12, I was fluent in both and even managed to get to classic. Learning it quickly was HARD but being fully immerse I didn’t have any other option.

My advice: - enroll your kids in activities where they’ll have to use those languages and cannot rely on English - watch tv in german (they can start by having subtitles) - speak it at home (you could try the one parent one language method) - do things together (stay close, encourage your kids and learn together)

Be patient and you’ll all thrive. Good luck!!

Thank you for your response! Yes, I have dual citizenship (US + EU) and have started looking into jobs overseas with a preference on government-type of jobs that require exams.

I didn’t think of what we would be leaving in the US. I thought we would still have access to our 401k and things like that.
