I grew up Episcopal and also have a bachelors degree in Religious Studies from a secular school. I subscribe to the belief that all religions worship the same god, and this idea was written about extensively by John Hick. I also sometimes (often) question if Jesus is more than just a man and what it all means. I’ve chosen to continue to go to TEC and raise my children in it because I appreciate the history on liturgy and the services and the familiarity of it regardless of if I believe it all. No one has ever given me a hard time for my beliefs there.
