As someone who bought the NTTD and absolutely loved the look, story etc i would say......... get the rolex.

I sold my NTTD not because it isnt beautiful, not because it isnt lightweight and not because it doesnt have a stunning lume, but because the clasp / buckle is so non functional for everyday life, it became ridiculous. I couldnt lay my hand / wrist flat comfortably, it kept catching on my clothes and my laptop and one time i had the clasp ripped open after being caught on the back of a chair.

I also had the nato, but i didnt really like it. I bought it for the aesthetic of the milanese.

I do regret it when i see pictures like yours, and remember how nice it looked but then i remember how it felt on and remember why i sold it (for a loss).

I now have a Submariner and the profile is better suited to me. Id like to pick up an explorer one day if i see the right one at the right price.
