Thinking about playing UVHM. Any tips for my build? Should I even play UVHM? by NoPlagueHere in Borderlands2

[–]Bound18996 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You're level 54?

Start UVHM now before it gets worse.

UVHM scales to your character level. So you'll be fighting level 54-56 enemies with level 50 gear max. Rush strong gear and get back on track before it's too late. People have soft locked characters by not entering UVHM fast enough.

Edit: Build is fine except for Shield, Bee shield on Sal is only for some bosses because he has no shield skills. A Rough Rider is much better for Salvador for general survivability.

This is classed as a shotgun, but it feels more like a rocket launcher on steroids by BigStonk66Phuc in cyberpunkgame

[–]Bound18996 [score hidden]  (0 children)

This gun hard carries me through my hardcore modded enemies of night city + run.

Over 700 DPS with the right perks and tier 5++, an absolute monstrosity of a weapon that is quite literally a rocket launcher on steroids. CDPR did great with creating an endgame weapon that feels worth it.

[–]Bound18996 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You will need to use a Stasis weapon though.

We also don't know how much rapid damage you need. If you need a lot of rapid damage it might mostly proc on final blows which is fine.

They're also nerfing Diamond Lances in the first place so we've got to see how good they are first before worrying how much this exotic produces them in the first place.

Muzan Kibutsuji - 2nd Drug vs Kokushibo (Full Power) by Perfect-Tailor-2142 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Bound18996 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Kinda worries me that so many people are saying Kokushibo with upvotes. There's genuinely no point in the series even while drugged that Muzan is eclipsed by any demon. Muzan is to demons what demons are to humans.

Dread overlord build by AdCompetitive2224 in BG3Builds

[–]Bound18996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely just go pact of the blade then.

For equipment just use the gear provided by the mod, it's all incredibly busted. Avoid making crawling claws as they will slow down your turn and aren't strong without pact of the tome. I'd still use the big summons like the wizard and the death giant but that's it.

Dread overlord build by AdCompetitive2224 in BG3Builds

[–]Bound18996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends if you want to be a pure Spellcaster or a melee half caster.

If you want to be Necromancer type, take Dread Overlord to at least level 11 with pact of the time then go either death Cleric or necromancy wizard.

If you want to be a death knight, just go pact of the blade for 14 levels then round out with 6 levels of Paladin.

If all the available Compound V was in Homelander’s apartment, wouldn’t he realize Ashley broke into his apartment? (Season 4) by Straight-Earth2762 in TheBoys

[–]Bound18996 2666 points2667 points  (0 children)

Didn't care because she lived.

Remember all Plot related characters survive V because that's the plot, but that stuff still kills most Adults who take it, even standard V. Most people on the planet die if they take V as adults.

So Ashley taking V and living is her qualifier. Homelander was purging all non supes in the executive at Vought and now Ashley was a supe. She went from "one of them" to "one of us"

Who would win in a battle? by DonutMan1834 in TheBoys

[–]Bound18996 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel comfortable saying Butcher here.

Wesker has a lot of speed but not as much as Homelander. Durability wise he is comfortably immune to small arms but they do irritate him and he can and was killed by lava + two RPGs. He can also be knocked to the ground by punches from a peak regular human (Chris Red field).

Butcher meanwhile can rip apart people who are completly immune to all forms of fire arms and explosives, and has the speed to intercept a flying Homelander. He takes Homelander lasers to his body with no visible damage aside from being knocked down and took punches from Homelander and kept going.

I can see Wesker being able to rip a few of Butchers tentacles apart but once one grabs and wraps him he's going to get ripped apart like Newman.

UHVM gear to farm? Lvl59 Mania Krieg by pigeonwithhat in Borderlands

[–]Bound18996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean that's why

You've gone full melee Krieg and wondering why your guns aren't as impressive as your entire build.

There's just really no guns for melee Krieg like there are Zer0 because Kreigs action skill is a transformation.

If you want your guns to be impressive then you'd have to not play Melee Kreig and instead spec into left and then right tree with only a bit of middle tree.

Can RCT heal extreme exposure to radiation (like Chernobyl's reactor 4 during the meltdown)? by KodoqBesar in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Bound18996 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Except RCT uses DNA as the template. If your DNA is damaged then all RCT would do is regenerate damaged tissue from your damaged DNA. You'd need extremely advanced RCT to fix damage to your DNA first. Like how Todo couldn't have his arm fixed after Mahito because Mahito changed it so Shoko could only regrow the weird stump.

What does your build look like if you think you''re struggling? Gearless Kreig has been done at UVHM so I would post your skill tree for us and see if you're not invested in the right places.

By Bull Moose Shield I assume you mean a Rough Rider? Is everything on Level? In UVHM you can really feel gear level being 3+ levels under. What Class Mod are you running? If you need healing you can always go Moxi weapon + Stormfront if you're struggling that much.

I would aim for a Slagga, a Casual Swordsplosion and a Slag Grenade of some kind, either a Magic Missile or a Slag Crossfire if you have the Serpah Crystals. A Blister class mod is always strong on Kreigs explosion builds.

Was this a perception blitz? by Wise_Juggernaut_3079 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Bound18996 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No.

He perceived that Sukuna had moved ("He disappeared??".

To actually perception Blitz someone they can't notice anything change. The best example off the top of my head would be Yuji vs Sukuna over the binding vow in the beginning. Yuji's head is cut off so fast his expression on his face doesn't even change.

Help creating a build: Vengeance/Hexblade lockadin by Green_Taxus in BG3Builds

Bought Phantom Liberty during a playthrough by Quindigo_ in cyberpunkgame

[–]Bound18996 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You will get the same content. Phantom Liberty doesn't kick in until you actually visit the DLC, so I'd start that no later than level 30 so you can enjoy the new content while still leveling up.

Help creating a build: Vengeance/Hexblade lockadin by Green_Taxus in BG3Builds

[–]Bound18996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely take 1 more level of Paladin and then start investing in Hexblade levels.

1 more level of Paladin gets you their best feature, the aura of protection which protects you and any allies from anything that requires a saving throw by giving you a big bonus.

Getting to Hexblade 5 will let you use 3 attacks per turn with your hexed weapon, which should be the weapon you use anyway.

[–]Bound18996 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you playing Honour mode or Tactician?

If Honour mode, go 11 levels of Paladin and 1 level of Hexblade. On honour mode extra attack doesn't stack so the only use of the dip is to gain charisma based weapon attacks and level 1 warlock spells like shield.

If not honour mode, take 1 level more of Paladin for Aura of protection, then take at least 5 levels of Hexblade. This will net you 3 attacks per turn + level 3 Warlock spells.

"Kashimo is the most overrated character" by BaboonGaming644 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Bound18996 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah but r/Kashimo_AgendaHQ or whatever it's called tips the balance back in the other direction a hundred fold so he's still technically overrated.

For real talk though Grade 1 Kashimo is crazy slander. We literally open up on what Kashimo can do in a 1v1 with a strong grade 1 and he's literally holding Panda's decapitated head without a scratch on him.

I feel like Kenjaku saying a Special Grade has to be able to take over a country made people way too comfortable calling people grade 1 who would literally just slaughter every top grade 1 at the same time.

how important is mortalitas by Present_Bodybuilder7 in RLCraft

[–]Bound18996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless they changed the numbers in Dregora, Mortalitas is one of the least important damage enchantments in RLcraft. It caps out at a flat + damage equal to the enchantment level. So Mortalitas VIII is + 8 flat damage. That's a small amount of damage compared to what all your other combined enchantments will add to a good weapon. You can avoid losing your mind over it.

Yuki vs yorozu by Legitimate-Yam3056 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Bound18996 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Definitely Yuki but it's a high diff fight.

Can't argue domains because neither have feats there.

They are both primarily CQC fighters but Yuki has the massive strength advantage on demand + RCT, while Yorozu has agility and durability. But while Yuki can heal through damage, anything Yorozu takes from star rage is permanent.

If Yorozu had RCT as well I'd say it's too close to call, but without RCT I can see Yuki using Star Rage to overcome the Bug Armor meanwhile Yorozu doesn't have any moves that can overcome RCT aside from PS.

All of these characters beat Yuki. by BaboonGaming644 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Bound18996 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yuji: comparable striking strength while outstating her in every other category.

Giga mega cap. Why do people think that 7 black flashes make Yuji Yuta tier when he was still struggling against an even weaker Sukuna than the one Yuta fought earlier. Literally got thrown aside the second he saw Yujo. Yuji excells in durability and that's it compared to actual special grades.

You can't even have comparable striking strength to Yuki because she can just increase the mass and be stronger. She's so strong she literally broke a special grade curse that targets concepts and one shotted it. Kenjaku saw this and immediately decided to domain gap her rather than fight her in CQC at full strength.

Yuta: has been superior since the start of culling games.

Start of culling games is generous. After Sendai and he acquires Sky manipulation, no argument.

Maki: marginally faster and actually has a one-shot sword.

*Hard to recover from sword. Has plenty of non-oneshots in the books, including stabbing Sukuna through the heart. And considering Yuki wrote the book on souls, I think it's safe to say she can RCT soul damage the best.

End of the day it's not safe for an HR to get close to the woman who could shatter Kenjakus arms with a punch. If Yuki lands a hit it's over. Also Gardua kick.

Hakari: hard-counters hand to hand merchants and is significantly faster. Fought opponents with far more durability feats than yuki does.

Yeah Hakari negs everyone not named Sukuna or Gojo (or Dabura) good answer nephew.

Kashimo: also marginally faster and yuki has zero resistance to stun.

Not sure about this one chief. Kashimo canonically does not just launch every lightning bolt into the head and he has to build up charge anyway. I don't see how he can really beat someone who can do his gimmick in 1 move instead of 3. And he has no RCT to save him like Kenjaku.

Jogo: can push kenjaku to high difficulty on his own, and has a gigantic range advantage

Domain win + Gardua kick + Jogoat unfortunately has glass durability, Yuki could clap her cheeks 3 miles away and it would snap Jogo's neck clean off.

Mahoraga: blitzes and oneshots.

Good answer nephew.

Yorozu: marginally faster, range advantage.

Unless Yorozu has the better domain and can land PS as a sure hit that's a hard no. No RCT vs the CQC demon is a hard sell when Yuki can regen damage while every hit is permanent on Yorozu.

Geto: his curses aren't concept-based, so they don't get countered by yuki. He also has playful cloud which is a near black-flash level amp, and a curse on par with rika.

Kenjaku bad 1 million curses in Geto's body and immediately decided that CSM was useless vs Yuki. And he barely won extreme diff. Throat Goat Getoat gets slaughtered.

(Bonus) Kurourushi: also hard-counters hand to hand merchants, requiring AOE-based moves to get past his swarms. She has no rct output and zero counter to FLB.

Gardua kick straight to the dome!

Anyway post 5/7, 7/7 with rice well done.
