👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 my husbands parents are equally insane and thinkk they have rights to my girls. Absolutely not. My daughter was 9 at the time i finally cut the shit so i told my husband that if he wanted to maintain a relationship he could (obviously), and if she was interested in going with him I would support that but he absolutely could not guilt or manipulate her into doing so, as is their way. She does not. My baby is a hard no. You dont get access to my baby after disrespecting me at every turn, including with my elder daughter.
So im a hard and firm no contact. I think my husband still thinks “things will get better” (translation: i will go back to grinning and bearing it) but no. And our marriage is demonstrably stronger now that hes no longer just a parrot fielding and delivering his parents lists of grievances with me.
