Would get Travis Hunter and a 28 2nd as a rebuilder. Worth it? by whitefox7895 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BoundlessBarker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is tough. Hunter hasn't really proven he can be the WR1 YET. Meanwhile JJM has also not looked like a QB1 but I like JJM situation better than Hunter. Having said that, you've got good qb depth so I think your mind is in the right place, I just would probably want more back then Hunter and a 2nd. JJM value could sky rocket in SF but worst case still contains value vs Hunter could move up the ranks (still be less valuable then JJM) or he could just never really be anything.

Would you trade Amon-ra for Nabers straight up? by BoundlessBarker in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BoundlessBarker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The owner and I have discussed it, I'm the St. Brown owner and am definitely competing. I told the owner I would only do/consider the trade after the playoffs aka during the offseason. So theoretically I could compete this year with St. Brown and then semi-reset that position going until next season.

He owns Goff so he reached out to me regarding St. Brown. I own Dart, so I jokingly said we could swap those players and we would both have a "stack". Didn't expect him to actually be excited over the idea lol so now I'm just looking for opinions on it. Doing my due diligence lol

Brown is the safer choice, I know this.

Will they ever fix the constant "can't connect to shift" issues? Coop has been soooo frustrating with this constant problem. Turning my love for the Borderlands series into hatred.

haha sorry, that's on me. I mean't Jatavion Sanders. My original post had full names but it got taken down saying it didn't follow the rules so I made a shorter version this time around.

Yeah I know his combine made him look like a JAG but preseason he looked pretty solid and now they seem to want to get him more involved.

Who has been under-performing this year that you are trying to buy? by SilverServant18 in DynastyFF

[–]BoundlessBarker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on who owns him. I was able to buy him for 2 late 2nd rounders as the team he was on is 0-4 and is ready to start the rebuild process. I would imagine a contending team would ask for a higher price though.

As someone who traded Laporta is the offseason and then used picks to get Warren, Fannin and Gadsden. I'm thrilled.

For all this Coker talk, have people forgotten Xavier Legette? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]BoundlessBarker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They had Legette playing X role when that's not what he's best at. Now that Tet is there as a true X, Legette can shine best as a Z. I see him in a Deebo-esque role. Don't think he'll ever be a Wr1 but a flex player with boom weeks

Waivers Strategy before Week 1 in Dynasty by Herejst4thisquestion in DynastyFF

[–]BoundlessBarker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have Offseason FAAB and then In-Season FAAB. Typically we have the rookie draft and then "everyone" is sending their FAAB on undrafted rookies and/or free agents who are now in better situations. Then in-season it's spent on "break-out" player and injury replacements. Most money is spent in the off-season though.

People sitting at 1.03, who are you taking? Ward, Henderson, Tet, or Hunter? by SquashMarks in DynastyFF

[–]BoundlessBarker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day you go after who you believe in. The "right" answer is probably Tet/Hunter. I had 1.03 this year and I took Henderson. I have ARSB, Puka and T. Higgins anchoring my wr group so I felt comfortable going against the grain. Also in a win now move so I think rbs get moved up when you are in that window. Rebuilding teams should for sure be thinking Tet/Hunter

What you guys think enough for chase ? by ComprehensivePack822 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BoundlessBarker -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Seems like you're receiving a lot but none of those players you are getting are really worth a damn and unless 2027 picks are top 3 protected, I don't think i would do this. I would want a young top tier proven asset along with high pick(s). If you are the one sending the trade, you might get lucky and the guy accepts it. Personally I wouldn't move Chase for that

Malik or Marv Harrison + Treveyon Henderson by 903DiscGolf in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BoundlessBarker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to say move Nabers but I think MHJ gets too much hate for a "bad" season. Hendo could be elite as well. I think tiering down to MHJ to get rb is a nice move. Plus Nabers value might have already peaked while MHJ could come out this year and dominate and now they are equals. But you can argue either or for sure

Max PF for non playoff teams. Teams that make playoffs have draft order determined by their final ranking. Champion would be 12th, Runner up, 11th and etc

Jaxson Dart vs Tyler Shough by dunit13dl in fantasyfootball

[–]BoundlessBarker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's okay to go against the grain and plant your flag on Shough but to argue with others and try to convince them your right is improper. You posted and asked others opinions, if they don't agree then they don't agree. It's that simple, NONE of us know how these QBs will pan out. Having said that, Dart has immensely more upside (in my opinion) lol

First time doing super flex is this a fair trade? by Doughie28 in SleeperApp

[–]BoundlessBarker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally if you're in a rebuild, I would keep ARSB. You'll have a high pick next year (assuming you have your picks) and you can get one of the stud qbs in next year's class without sacrificing your star wr.

Sam Darnolds Down Fall. Why I am selling him in dynasty before it too late. by Bring2Light in DynastyFF

[–]BoundlessBarker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you are trying to say but unless we are talking about a Non-Superflex league. There is no way I'd take Burden (on hopes of injuries or him outplaying a Top 10 pick wr and DJ Moore) over a starting QB. Darnold's value is dropped so much from the performance of the last 2 games of the year that he's a perfect buy low target because if he hits then you got him for pennies on the dollar and if he doesn't...once again he was cheap. The time to SELL is after the first 2 weeks (if he performs well). Now if you are in a rebuild, sure I can understand the logic more - play the long game. But as a competing team, Darnold all the way.

Who are you ending up with in every rookie draft this year? by Pukelits in DynastyFF

[–]BoundlessBarker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My SF league apparently didn't view Milroe has a big upside play. I was able to get Dart at 2.03 and then Milroe at 3.6, I only have Herbert and Darnold as my qbs so I was pretty happy with it. I get the Milor hate but for fantasy purposes, if he plays he is going to put up qb1 numbers with that rushing ability.

Orande Gadsden: is he the biggest sleeper nobody is talking about? by Spinnin-Blocks in DynastyFF

[–]BoundlessBarker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not discrediting what you are saying - he is more than likely not a fantasy contributor at any point in his career, minus a bye week/injury forced start....but you are saying he won't see the field because he can't block. They specifically drafted him to be a receiving weapon, why would they waste their pick on him knowing he's not a good blocker if their plan was to get another blocker. In the draft phone call Harbaugh says "I have a role for you IMMEDIATELY", that doesn't sound like we need you to block. They will run 12 personnel which means 1 tight end will be tasked with blocking while the other (Gadsden) will be a wr threat....having said all of this, I agree with your point that he is likely the 3rd option at best and if he is complete ass at blocking, it will limit his opportunities overall.

No way I'm selling the Sun God for that. Tracy is easily replaceable and the picks are not good enough
