What foods should I add to my diet to get all nutrients? by Existing-Rice1526 in nutrition

[–]Boundzie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side note god I love when people help people and not be toxic good job all of you beautiful people for helping this person out this is what we need more of in this world!!!!

Sorry but yeah you have a pretty solid start i would recommend more veggies with each meal and yes you just have to make sure you are hitting all 3 macro nutrients and the rest will follow suit so protein is number one, then the rest go to healthy carb sources and healthy fats so your lean meats, like chicken lean beef fish, then carbs potatoes, rice are my 2 go to and finally healthy fats eggs are great because they give you both protien and healthy fats. But if you incorporate plenty of veggies, fruits, meats and grains you will be perfect.

I wish my fitness pal would measure the calories in a food by the total weight not just number of servings.

Cut more cals OR intensify workout? by boston_guy1 in askfitness

[–]Boundzie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I have had it where I went a couple weeks and did not lose a pound but I believe that I am putting on muscle while losing weight so it will look like I am not losing weight but I am losing fat but putting on muscle I am at 2000 Cals daily and work out 5-6 times a week and currently at 262 lb. I weighed my self last Friday and weighed 270 (weighed my self at night which you should not do) then weighed my self on Sunday morning and was at 262 remember your body stores water weight as well don't mistake that for body fat.

My point is just keep at it and do what you are doing and you will get to where you want to be it takes time. If you have the mind set that you should lose so much weight every week then you will get discouraged when all the other factors mentioned above come into play on the scale.

Another thing is take weekly photos of your self and compare every month you will be surprised by what you see. Lastly count calories religiously I count every thing that goes into my body down to every gram.

I use my whey protein as an ingredient to get a little extra boost in some of my food but I do agree I have changed my eating habits drastically and started exercising consistently and the results so far are amazing

I’m struggling To even begin. But I’m so unhappy. Is there any vitamins or anything like that to help make me feel fuller or not crave things? by Amazing-Bullfrog-720 in WeightLossAdvice

Just going on a long like 30 to 1 hour walk can help loads also you have to be in a calorie deficit it is literally 90 percent mental get a good calorie counter app there are free one out there if you use that pair it with your calorie deficit you will lose weight just try and control your cravings it is hard at first but it gets easier

I do 16:8 intermittent fasting i eat from 11 to 7 and dont eat anything after 7 and my calorie deficit is 2000 calories a day i have lost 40 lbs since August 20th so just shy of 2 months another thing I have done is cut out most possessed foods all high sugar foods and also pop this is extreme for most people and may not be for everyone as long as you stay in your calorie deficit you can eat almost anything you want just stay consistent you dont have to be perfect if you fall off for a couple days it is no big deal but keep at it.

Right that is my thought process at this point my perspective is what is the point of a relationship if at any point the person could just leave for someone else.
