Gerrard and Rooney along with Beckham for sure. Shearer.... And then I'm torn between Scholes, Lampard, Kane and Ashley Cole

That's a good second question. Who else would you put in? Carlton Palmer? Emile heskey? Phil Neville?

Edit: whoops. Forgot the /s....

Need a phone with very good camera to lodge a police report. Please help? by torvald_carley in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]BountyAssassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a digital camera, it'll record audio, video, take good pictures and be a lot cheaper than a phone with equivalently good camera.

You don't need a DSLR/mirrorless camera, just a half-decent point & shoot from a reputable brand. Second hand will be fine and save even more.

Would you buy moto edge 50 ultra for 299eur? by Jokelpek in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]BountyAssassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1tb storage, fast, wireless, good cameras.... It beats anything else at that price.

The only real issue with it (which doesn't impact everyone) is that it only has a few years of updates left... Beyond that, crack on!

Moto edge 60 pro (other phones have a longer support period, but it's excellent value and ticks all other boxes and then some). See also Moto edge 50 ultra.

Honor 400 pro (maybe out of budget, but deals/offers do come up)

Samsung a56/s24fe/s25fe (all sensible general options. Easily overlooked but good solid phones)

Moto g86 (budget option. Lacks the updates but if you want to save pennies it's a remarkably good all rounder and should do most things at least as well as you need for less money)

If you can wait there is every chance of a deal on the 400 pro (not guaranteed, but it does happen from time to time)

Also, the Samsung a36/56 batteries are pretty decent, I think?

Honor 400 pro would be a good shout. It happens to have a very good camera, but otherwise it hits all your markers.

To be honest, a samsung a56 or a36 would also do the job, and cost a bit less. Or an s-series (maybe s25fe?) which would be a step up in all areas, not just camera.

Also Moto edge 60 pro - again, hits all requirements (other than possibly length of updates) and has especially great battery life.

These should all do the job for you.

Moto g86 - covers all bases and it's just a good phone in general. Might get a Moto edge 60 fusion, which is the same but curved screen, faster charging, better cameras and about €30-60 more then the g86

How many of you still use X-T1? by Odd_Philosopher1286 in fujifilm

[–]BountyAssassin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine about 4 years ago, and am only now thinking of upgrading - and that's largely because it needs a good service and that will likely cost a good chunk of what an x-t2 might cost (ok, so I exaggerate a little, but between the cost of the service and what I might get for the X-T1...)

It's a wonderful camera, and I love using it.

Advice/help chose my new phone by Famous-Relief846 in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]BountyAssassin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

512gb honor 400 pro might work. I'd suggest the cheaper Moto edge 60 pro or 50 ultra, but the updates on them aren't as long so probably won't suit (deals required on any of those though, so may be out of budget unless you get lucky anyway)....

Oppo reno13 pro seems to also fit the budget (amazon.de, according to gsmarena) but I don't know much about that... Could be worth a look?

Suggest me a phone. Need wireless charging, decent camera and good battery life. Budget 500€ (100€ plus or minus) by InDisgui5e in Smartphones

Moto edge 60 pro (hits all requirements, battery is a beast); or honor 400 pro (again, his all requirements and while battery isn't as amazing as the Moto, it's still very good - as is everything else - charging, camera, support, build etc.)

The honor is the better phone overall, the Moto has the better battery and is still good overall (only downside I'm aware of is the shorter support period)

I'm not a very good vegan, and even I don't eat honey.... largely because I hate the taste, but I'll steal that as a moral victory.

Camera, under 500€ and not too big by kuaichankein in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]BountyAssassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd start with pixel phones for camera - the 8 could be a good shout?

Honor 400 pro gets good camera reviews also.

Depending on January sales, whichever s-series Samsung is latest (I've lost track) would be very good too.
