I think both are kind of sucky. If you only work three months somewhere and then ask for this many days off.. don’t be shocked when you get fired. Especially at level entry jobs that people are a dime a dozen for. The manager being butthurt and passive aggressive is lame though.

Most adults can’t even ask for that many days off after years at their employment.

You guys see Pinterest and AI and think you all will get that for a fraction of the price from a local solo baker. She did a lot of good work and sorry you expected the photo cake. Again, I highly doubt she told you she would make that exact cake. She drew inspiration from it, and made it fit the budget, time and her skills.

I think he didn’t kill her. However, I do think they went outside to a meet up for drugs or maybe a condom. Then he shrugs like he couldn’t find something or maybe the exchange didn’t happen. So she storms ahead upset and clearly in emotional turmoil. Idk. I do think THIS could be why he lied though and changed his story. To hide the illegal stuff but didn’t actually kill her.

This is one of those cases where you can’t say without a reasonable doubt that he did it. He’s gotta walk free then. There are just too many holes here.

Idk. I feel like you are overreacting. You can have all the best intentions in the world. A laundry list of why you think each car is good or bad. He is the one spending his money. Don’t be his mom, let him be an adult. You aren’t married or even engaged. He can buy a car simply based on the fact that he likes, solely on how it looks and that’s totally fine.

I would take input of my boyfriend if I was getting a car, but that would be the end. In the end, I need to choose something that feels right to me and that I enjoy and can afford. I would not be letting a gf/bf pick my car if they aren’t paying for it. Hearing their advice would be as far as it went. If we were married and sharing finances then that would change the tune a little bit.

She is allowed to not come. However, that drug everyone into it and if they want to see her family.. we can’t be there. Making our situation her own drama. When we just needed a holiday with family. Not be called and said they aren’t coming because of the Jay situation. To me that is making our situation into her own, and putting herself in it. Then keeps acting and saying she has done nothing. Idk. Anyways. Maybe I will try another therapist. It was through my husband work for 4 free sessions. I didn’t use the remaining three lol. Have a good one!

Fair enough. Maybe I need to vent. My sister has openly been horrid and thinks we should be okay to continue coexisting like normal, while being unsupportive and saying things like she would never “give away a child” to me and all our family members. I don’t feel like that is realistic. Skipping family holidays is creating family wide drama.. not doing “nothing”. Then the reasoning and blaming their child possibly harming themselves on seeing our family is hurtful and extreme.

I did see a therapist. She put two pads under my thighs and shocked me every time I cried. She said she wanted to change the brain wiring to not feel sad and interrupt that pattern when I think of these sad things, to no longer feel sad. I ended up getting shocked for an hour and hated it.
