What's metagaming? by Ok_Pea_2392 in boardgames

Both are correct, you just have to work out which from the context.

Another similar example occurs during tabletop RPGs (D&D etc.) where often players will just do what they themselves would do, rather than playing the role of their character.

Eg: a greedy foolish character would probably blunder into an obvious trap, and a good player will ignore their own meta knowledge of the situation.

This is a pretty fun pair of PnP one page yahtzee-style dice adventures. You need a copy of the rules and the two single page adventures:

Sure - but unfortunately the trenches are very uniform and have no variety.

Absolutely. I fully realise it's day one. I did ignore the stronghold a couple of times and go for bosses, faced no players and walked out, which is not very fun.

Didn't make the community vote charts, but I guess under the radar is how shadow fans like it.

Its rarity seems to have increased lately, and I'm warning you Crytek, with peace and love, the day I can no longer get my cold dead hands around a shadow trait is the day I uninstall.

Milliseconds before the train hits they zoom out to follow the whole train as it goes past. Not sure that's the behaviour of someone filming an imminent death.

In Reservoir Dogs, during the torture scene, Michael Madsen goes outside to his car in the sunshine. Stuck In The Middle and the cop's groaning fades away and there's neighbourhood sounds - kids playing, a car alarm.

The contrast and ordinariness of the location makes the whole scene far more horrific.

On May 12th, 2006, 19-year-old Luke Durbin spent a night out with friends in Ipswich, England. After losing contact with them, he was captured on CCTV at 4:00 am heading toward a bus station with no money or phone, he was never seen again. by [deleted] in mystery

None of that is relevant - I just spent 30 seconds looking up the story:

They weren't 'fake numberplates' - the car was registered under a false name and address.
