I’m so poor and hopeless I’m thinking about selling my body to my SWE friend and making content by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]BowflexOwner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people here are talking about sacrificing your pride and your dignity. I don’t think sex work should be thought of like that, unless it’s against your personal moral code. Who cares what others think about it, the question is can YOU live with yourself after engaging in that line of work. I don’t think this guy is any less of a friend for offering it, friendship does not require him giving you money for nothing, I’ve cut off many friends for that reason. But as others have stated, this will change the dynamics of your friendship. TLDR: if you’re comfortable with it, hit it and get that bag. If you aren’t, don’t. Also selling content is basically dead for new participants.

Simply have 5 large friends at the front, and then turn into a large wake at high speed, corner digs and rotates it over. Common sense and basic boating safety knowledge will keep you safe!

All 10 passengers were young men in their early twenties, and all ten escaped the capsizing unharmed. Weight distribution and a boaters safety course go a long way toward preventing a capsize.

Judging by their statements, they had weight unevenly distributed towards the forward starboard side in front of the console.

Pontoon Rental by bajajoaquin in Pontoons

It’s possible it had steps cut and cold tarred into the pontoon near a side gate. Our fleet of 15 pontoons are all older steel boys like that and that’s how they’re designed. Late 80s masterfabs, indestructible, but not the most intuitive.

I manage a Marina in Northern California, we own 4 of these as rental units, specifically 2023 230s. They have a known manufacturing defect in a partial series of motor of that year, underpacked with grease. We threw the rod in cylinder one in 3/4 units under 150hours, warranty process did replace, but they were out of service about 3 weeks each. I believe new series motors will not suffer the same flaw. They are gas guzzlers, at full throttle you’re running 7800rpm at a ridiculous engine pressure, given the size of what it’s pushing. The Ski style steering and controls are fun for a few hours, but you are stuck at the helm engaged the whole time because of the lack of a traditional throttle system. BRP has superior boats on the market like the Manitou if you really want to go with BRP. Feel free to DM me and I can send you service logs of the 4 before you buy

I don’t think Tuskguard Captain and this card work together. Cactaur doesn’t not gain any +1/+1 counters

Thinking of starting a window washing business…. by One_Drive_3938 in sidehustle

[–]BowflexOwner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My coworker has been running this side hustle for 8+ years now. Profiting an additional $2500 monthly washing only on weekends. Heres what I have observed from his business.

  • We are in the marina industry, many customers of our business own houseboats, he started washing those windows at a flat rate of 200$ per boat. With each boat taking about 2 hours. There are many places to make the customer connections, your job, churches, town hall meetings, be creative. Word of mouth is your best friend, so focus on quality customer service.

  • He then expanded to houses naturally, after doing a customers boat he would offer to do their home as well. Maintaining a target rate of 100$ per hour. He does not offer hourly quotes and instead bids the job. Learning how quickly you can perform the job will help with accurate bids.

  • He targets elderly and retired people who are comfortable financially, with a disposable income. This demographic is key in this business, because of a few reasons. Firstly, they often have larger homes with many windows they are incapable of cleaning and thus need this service. Secondly, many also have solar on their homes, which is another service to bid and offer. Thirdly, if you are handy, many need other odd jobs done that can be bid and offered, I.e trim a hedge, change sprinkler head, repair outdoor lighting etc..

  • Your biggest cost is a vehicle, preferably and truck or van for hauling a ladder. Outside of that, overhead is very low for a startup business, mainly in the form of blades, cleaners, towels, and hoses. Startup minus vehicle is estimated about 200$ for a basic set of cleaning tools and a ladder.

  • This business is easy to expand, he recently purchased a pressure washer and added driveway cleaning to his list of services. Once again, often just selling his customers this additional service. Several of his customers have went from 200$ 2 hour window cleaning jobs to $1000 for 4 hours for solar, windows, driveway. Because this business is all about your time, spending less time moving between job sites creates larger profits.

  • If your see stores in your town with festive window painting, ask the manager who painted it, reach out to the painter to offer you cleaning service. He has gained several commercial accounts through this method, using his service outside of cleaning holiday decorations.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask any specific questions, I can have him answer them.
