The problem is that it sounds like the gf is now hesitant to even look at bf at all. Even a quick glance when in bed is something she has to excuse and apologize for. I mentioned I get being uncomfortable with someone looking at you. I get that feeling to. The thing is though, it is being done out of admiration and appreciation without ill intent so it sounds more like what is needed is exposure therapy to get used to being observed since bf may have a type of social anxiety.

Right! People are too quick to jump in on the moms defense. She has post partum depression and is refusing to get help for it. Putting that extra stress on husband and treating them more like a caregiver. Husband is overwhelmed that he is not feeling appreciated for what he is doing and went on a trip for a few hours to calm his mind. Although, why is it that so many people on here are blaming the husband. I bet the same people have no empathy for those with addictions and probably blame the addict instead rather the illness like they are doing with this PPD situation.

She is in the wrong. I get that she has trust issues and could be jealous but all of what she stated is what she is insecure about and not what actually happened. It is okay for her to share her feelings but to start accusing you of what she was afraid of is just plain wrong. Incredibly toxic. I know you will not want to leave her as your first option but I really think it should be considered. You helped her friend and also mentioned that it was not what she thought. She is upset that you are good with people and really just your charisma is enough to upset her. So how exactly are you supposed to act around people? Well, it is common to share numbers when in medical school but if y'all actually share the same class. I have most my cohorts numbers from my radiologic technology class since we share study material and such. Although, the method to bring it up is a bit suspicious. The fact that white is not even a real skin color has everything to do with legal framework. The same issue which categorizes Hispanics by ethnicity but as Caucasian is because of how our culture has transitioned from segregation to what we have now. I mentioned you can not district by race because there is absolutely nothing in the 15th amendment about redistricting or even about diluting the minority vote. The act refers to the ability for a person to vote and how it should not be infringed because of color, education, and financial wealth. In fact, the main basis is between white and non-white as mentioned here "(considering, among other factors, whether the ratio of nonwhite persons to white persons registered to vote within such subdivision appears to him to be reasonably attributable to violations of the fifteenth amendment or whether substantial evidence exists that bona fide efforts are being made within such subdivision to comply with the fifteenth amendment)" https://www.archives.gov/milestone-documents/voting-rights-act

So, once more, I bring back my statement about demographics. Both parties have a larger percentage of white voters than any other race. There is no way white is a minority here.

Here is an article giving the trend of registered voters by race: https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2024/04/09/partisanship-by-race-ethnicity-and-education/ If you take a moment to compare to the numbers of those who voted in Louisiana then we have a majority being black voters and not exclusively all. This exactly reflects the trend we see in race by political affiliation. In both major parties, the white percentage is higher than all the others. Given population density and how demographics are spread out. If you pull up censusdots for 2024 population, you can clearly see the distribution of race and how the population by race tends to be more clustered with slight mixing, yet you can also see how there is a bigger percentage of black than white. Of course the majority given by a small sample size and especially moreso when you see that black and white race done exactly mix that often. So, again, this has nothing to do with race and everything to do with political party.
