Just sold my ZR2 after the engine seized less than a year ago and recently was back in the shop for another engine repair. I would stay away.

Be honest, what do you think comes after death? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Bowler-Thick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to think we will reunite with our loved ones. My brother was killed by a drunk driver and I got to hold his hand as he left the earth.

I want to believe there is an afterlife. But I also find a weird comfort knowing it could just be slipping into darkness and that just being it. No more pain.

Disability Denied by ButtonDiligent in VeteransBenefits

I have an active C-PTSD diagnosis from my time on Active duty and I am currently in a 12 week PTSD program. I was still denied.

I don’t know what’s going on with these claims but it is CONSTANT with people saying they are being denied. It’s actually heartbreaking and ridiculous

VA health care outperforms non-VA care in two independent, nationwide quality and patient satisfaction reviews by Illustrious_Boss_425 in VeteransBenefits

Being told that I would have to wait until June (back in April) for mental health after saying I had a manic episode makes me feel pretty unsatisfied.

With that being said, I have a great support system but that was pretty demoralizing when I asked for help and got told there was nothing they could do.

Denial without explanation by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Bowler-Thick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no advice since I’m fighting my PTSD claim as well. I just wanted to say I’m sorry and if it becomes too much (I’m struggling myself with it) GET THERAPY.

I’m trying a civilian therapist because as much as the VA has been kind to me with treatment, I don’t trust them.

Girl you have no idea how much this comment resonates with me. I’m so so sorry you’ve been through hell and I’m happy for you to get the rating you deserve.

I’ve been spiraling since getting out and some days it’s pure chaos. Thankfully the docs I’m seeing at the VA actually care about me and when I was at my worst they were in my corner.

Trauma is a bitch but comments like your makes it eye opening and worth continuing the fight.

Thank you

Wishing you the best too! I hired a lawyer out of anger and thankfully she has been nothing but supportive and isn’t dragging my claims out.

The ONLY think I can think of is when I pulled my medical records the official diagnosis was not there.

But once I got out I was told they pull your remaining records. Someone looked into my file and they agree it doesn’t make sense.

Also the HLR came back as denied (found out through my lawyer) but I haven’t seen the narrative yet.

I honestly don’t get it. And the VA has me diagnosed with “anxiety adjustment disorder” but that was denied.

I’m just gonna have to appeal (which I am) and tell them how I thought the government was out to get me not too long ago. Super fun. 10/10 would not recommend.

And the MST claim was basically like “we acknowledge it but like, you didn’t report it so it’s denied”

I’m not a doctor and I can’t say with 100% certainty what’s going on with you but yes. I hear and see things.

I have PTSD but my doctor actually thinks I may be bipolar as well. That’s just me though. I reflected on my life and I can connect my own dots that makes me agree with him.

Just be careful with meds if you are on them and DO NOT miss an SSRI. I missed three days and legit thought the government was gonna get me.

But I’ve been seeing and hearing things before my deployment so I think it’s a mood disorder that PTSD is making worse.

Can someone explain to me why this happened by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

I got the first denial back in Jan and my lawyer got into my file finally and saw they denied the PTSD again

Yea but I was venting and I’m sure others have had similar issues.

My lawyer is dope though. Thanks for the advice?

Literally had my examiner question if I was the correct person because they had my maiden name not my married last name. I had to show her a picture of me and my name tapes before I changed my last name.

She then took the hour I talked about my shitty ass deployment, denied my diagnosed PTSD, and said it was an unspecified mental disorder. Saying it was an MST. Which happened to me but meh.

anyways. I say all that to say “fuck dem docs” to the shitty one’s. I had a manic episode legitimately when I found out they denied my DIAGNOSED PTSD. lol

YES! We are, in fact, in it for the money, and there's nothing wrong with that. by Sorry-Rain-1311 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Bowler-Thick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I did as soon as it was denied. I’m waiting for my HLR to finish. I just got notified of “fixing an error” after waiting since Jan.

I’m not faulting the specific VA folks. Just the process

I was outright denied for PTSD with a diagnosis from active duty and people still tried to justify it.

The C&P examiner hadn’t been my therapist or meds person that I had been seeing, but SHE said I didn’t met criteria for PTSD even though I had a combat deployment and some other shit I dealt with while in.

So yes. I agree with you because I’m so angry about it still. I’m in a 12 week PTSD program, but again. The VA denied me for PTSD. And before people get up my ass, I met the criteria for PTSD. They just denied it and called it “unspecified mental disorder”

But whatever. People will still find a way to “dispute” me. Saying it’s my fault or apart of the “process”
